It's so interesting to see tourism in my hometown. I've lived in Greenville almost my whole life, 30 years, it has probably tripled in size since we have been here. Most of the places you visited are super popular, but I have never heard of SBH and now I have to try it. During the week Paris Mountain is so nice to visit. On summer weekends it does get more busy though. I live very close to the park and love the area so much! Next time try Spill the Beans coffee & ice cream, Up on the Roof for cocktails or SIP for wine, Birds Fly South for beer, & Trappe Door for dinner. ❤

For anyone who is looking to visit or move here, a ‘small’ city is a misnomer here. To a native everywhere they went in this video is considered ‘downtown’. The vast majority of the city is suburban, so the city sprawls. There are 3 major cities in SC, Greenville in the Upstate, the capital Columbia, and Charleston the major port city.

There are some great little places to stop and eat there as well. I've missed SBH, I'll hit them up next trip. Great video! Greenville is one of our absolutely favorite cities and the people there are wonderful! The food, the bridges, the Reedy park, the live music; everything downtown is a delight. It is a fabulous city to visit. It was also in our top three retirement city considerations after taking four years to research and visit areas! What finally took it off our list as a place to live was that the Upstate foliage is so dense and tall that it is like a canopy over and around you everywhere. We like at least some open areas, green hills or fields, or peekaboo views a least, but those are few and far between in that region. But we will be back to visit downtown for sure!

Nice video. Fun Fact; The empty building at the17:07 mark, is the original Duke's Mayonnaise factory, which was invented in Greenville, over 100 years ago, by Eugenia Duke. It is currently known as the Wyche Pavilion.

We've been there a couple of times and want to move to the area because our kids are there. It is a beautiful area and you captured that well with the video editing. I would love to know who did the editing. We'll done!

I'm from here and everyone I know calls it Fall's Park. That is so funny if it's actually called Fall's Creek Park. Don't get in the water there. It's dirty haha

i grew up in greenville, i was the first person to ride ten speed in down town in 1980 and it was so boring then. i miss the trees and hate the traffic now. i could drive around and never see a car now it is over crowed on highways.please save our trees and turtles which are native to our area.

I'm trying to get the TITLE of two songs you have on video .. but don't see them. Can you start listing the titles of the songs? I'm interested in the first song You have to find your people... And then the next song after...

Is the bridge in Reedy open yet? Went a few days ago or so and it was closed for maintenance. I think it’s supposed to be done by Memorial Day.

When we were in Greenville this past week (a few days before Memorial Day) it wasn't open yet. However, it looked like it was really close! So it could be that it opened over the weekend. ☺️

pro tip from someone who has lived in south carolina all my life, do not even *think* about staying here long term. it kay be fascinating at first, but it gets draining, REALLY fast. even worse, you run out of money and somehow get *stuck* living here. that's what's going to drive you up the walls.

I've been here about a year now, and I have to say that most of the things you covered are pretty much ruined by screaming kids. I'll give you this- I've never been a kid person (love my nieces & nephews). The sheer number of groups of screaming and out-of-control small children everywhere ruins the atmosphere...especially at Gather. Throwing balls, kicking things, running and screaming, while parents get drunk. Paris Mountain, same thing.
