This review along with your other reviews on foam cannons, changing the 1.1mm orifice, etc. have been very helpful. There are a ton of options for a pressure washer set ups to wash cars and I am glad to see real world tests showing how these cheaper options work. I am so glad I found your channel and took your advice instead of buying the ridiculous set ups via obssessed garage that ran into the thousands of dollars. For just $200, i was able to put together a set up that works perfectly for my needs. Everything worked exactly as you described. You da man! Thank you!

Have now used this to clean house siding and it performed well kzitem.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX I also bought some wand extensions which enabled higher washing without needing a ladder. I recommend both. This unit arrived quickly, was easy to assemble (only had to attach the handle), and arrived in perfect condition. The only very slight downgrade from a perfect score is the design has a low handle and requires pulling from the side. My old washer was an upright model, while this one is more horizontal. Other than that, it's perfect for my needs. It has a great deal of pressure and more easily cleaned the house siding, porch rails and concrete than did my older model. The engine is a bit louder, as well, but the total time to clean was reduced by the more powerful spray. Did I mention it starts on the first or second pull every time?!! I am definitely happy with this model.

So... a Question: Up to today with all the pressure washers you reviewed (Great Reviews by the way) my question is 1. for car detailing what are your number 1 and 2 picks if the VE52 never existed? 2. What would be your number 1 and 2 picks for best for detailing cars than best for use around the house like cleaning driveways, windows, siding etc. I'm asking what your choice would be since you have had your hands on all of them. Thanks. P.S. Are you going to review any of the craftsmen that lowes carries?
@imjoshv
3 жыл бұрын
yes i will be reviewing craftsmen stuff at some point! 1. #1 would be the ve52 but if you want 2 and 3 it would be the portland pressure washer from harbor freight (because it got a good gpm rating with a larger nozzle- check out my review on that one). and the other would be the ryobi 1600 cause ive used it a ton and its been a workhorse. 2. they all get pretty similar numbers but i would probably do the dewalt 2400. good sturdy wheels, good performance!

Noted your comment about the included Uberflex hose regarding "5mm". I believe that would be the hose ID? If so, that would make that hose 3/64ths" smaller diameter than the 1/4" ID version that you like (which is also the Flexzilla's ID). Not sure how that affects performance? Perhaps a cheat way to get to 2,000PSI?
@imjoshv
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for doing the math on that! I wonder if that would increase the psi. The orifice is usually whats make the difference but if its a smaller diameter hose maybe it would more back pressure and get it to 2000....

Long process for me looking for an electric unit to have for most cleaning projects and then maybe a big gas washer for the bigger projects. Great reviews! Most of the unit seem to have the 15deg nozzles. I'd think if you were to try a 15deg nozzle for an apples to apples comparison, you'd get closer to the 2000PSI rating? Or, is it just the orifice size that matters? Could you link an appropriate 15deg nozzle? Or, are they pretty much generic? Also, you assumed that since they had an Uberflex hose that the fittings would be correct (14mm vs 15mm). Was that a correct assumption? Lastly, do you use a swivel adapter to reduce tangles?
@imjoshv
3 жыл бұрын
Yea its the orifice that matters. Here is a link to the 15 degree from ryobi that has a nice small orifice for higher psi! amzn.to/3nqvIHc This machine is an m22x14mm so the longer uberflex does not need an adapter! amzn.to/3tSPhdD I dont use any swivels other than the one that is on the wand amzn.to/32aWsRU But i do like to use quick connect on both ends. It makes thing faster and provides a little bit of swivel! amzn.to/2SFKPhX

@@imjoshv Thank you for that... Follow up questions: Does the long metal wand that comes with this washer fit the aftermarket gun? Of course the hose that comes with this one is a lot better but overall would you say the greenworks is worth the hassle of returning the Husqvarna? I've been watching obsessed for years now and am only just starting to venture into watching others beside him and ammo and I gotta say it's a breathe of fresh air for us that don't want to spend crazy amounts of money on the other stuff. Great work as usual! These are probably 2.5mm nozzles, correct? So if you used the Ryobi one you've used for other reviews which I believe is 2.0mm, the PSI might reach 2000? @vg4902

The Greenworks is better. The included hose is a high quality uberflex, the fitting is also standard M22-14. The Husqvarna uses a very low quality hose which kinks easily. It's also using a M22-15 connection which isn't as common and would require additional adaptors if you wanted to swap the hose or wand for anything better. The wand on the Husqvarna is also low quality with a poorly designed trigger mechanism. You need to press in and hold a flimsy red button before the trigger will pull. And you will have to do that every time. The PSI/GPM are about the same on both. So it comes down to build quality, standard fittings, and accessories. IMO the Greenworks takes all 3.
