Thank you for being the first person I could find who didn’t play music over the background noise. I’ve watched at least 8 videos trying to see how loud it is and if it’s worth switching from gas.

Glad the 3000 is working out for you. Nice that you got the surface cleaner working again. I'm sure that is going to help people out. We bought our 3000 and the popular Karcher surface cleaner attachment about mid Summer and have used it a few times. Our 3000 got the job done but it wasn't flawless. Every time after about 30-60 minutes of use, the pressure/motor would start pulsating. Also there were fit and finish issues. There was a leak above the gun trigger, sharp pieces of metal on the accessory holder which would easily cut someone if they didn't notice it and the bar pads were far from centered. The Karcher surface cleaner was flawless though.

FYI, if you're thinking of getting this, it takes a 15 Amp electrical power. it is not a special plug but it will pull more electricity than anything else in your house, unless you own an electric stove. If all you have is an 10 amp outlet, it will overheat & trip the circuit. DO NOT REPLACE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER WITH A 15 AMP VERSION!! You'd also need to replace the wiring between your circuit breaker box & the outlet or the wires within your walls will heat up & glow like inside of a toaster & set FIRE to your house.

Most outlets have at least a 20 amp breaker and can easily handle 15 amps

Good stuff, Thanks for sharing. I'm not a cat fan and after having dogs since I was a kid barking all day and now 50, I want some peace and quiet in my life, no loud dogs and no lound power washers. So maybe a Cat and a new Electric Power Washer for me 🤗 Good looking cat and great name for him or her? ECLIPSE ☺

Those surface cleaners are also useful if you flip them upside down & slide under your car to wash off any salt if you live in an area that gets snow. I have a different model, & mine stays flat when flipped, users would need something to hold it flat maybe wheels.

Smart. I've done that with a sprinkler, but the surface cleaner would probably do a better job.

The one I showed in the video was rated for 3100 psi, but they sell others with a lower rating. I can't find it on the Greenworks site now, so maybe they discontinued it.

How did this electric model compare you your previous gas model?
@TheSnekkerShow
2 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, the gas one was 3400 PSI, so it cleaned a little more aggressively. It also took up more horizontal storage space, weighed more, and was much louder.

Hello. I was foing to purchase this, but then started reading some bad reviews. We have a pretty large driveway and a 15 inch surgave cleaner. I just sold our big gas harbor freight and i think i might of made a mistake. I read that you can't run it more than an hour, dont ise an extension cord, and multiple people saying it just just off and wouldn't start again and sometimes turning it off and on it will work again. Do you think i should just get another gas one if I have a large driveway? Thank you.
@TheSnekkerShow

Mine is still working fine, but I've never used it for anything as big as a driveway. Most tools that have a hose and high power draw, like air compressors and pressure washers, should not be used with an extension cord. Short explanation: The length of the cord impedes the flow of electricity, which creates heat, which creates more impedance, etc. You can use a longer water hose, though.

yeah that surface cleaner is very cheaply built, mine still works but the plastic prongs that hold the brushes around it can easily brake off if you're not careful. 👎

So would you recommend this for starting a business in pressure washing?
@TheSnekkerShow

It depends on the business. It would be useful to have an electric pressure washer in the inventory, but if you're going to be pressure washing large areas and need to move quickly, you might want a larger gas machine.

Nice! I would not have bet on it cleaning. I have an old Ryobi electric, but it’s only rated for about 2400 PSI. It’ll clean a driveway, but you better pack a lunch cause it’s sloooow. I guess electric tech is catching up!
@TheSnekkerShow

I was pleasantly surprised. I was on the fence between this and a 3400 psi or more gas machine, but the electric ones are so much quieter, lighter, and easier to store.

Can you use it on tile grout?
@TheSnekkerShow
Жыл бұрын
I suppose you could, but I would be careful not to over-do it. Most grout is not completely waterproof, which is why it needs to be sealed periodically. Too much pressure could push water under the surface, or even break the grout out of the joint.

Are you using this on a 20A breaker? Looks like other testers see this unit spike close to 20A, but level out under 15. Wondering if i need to upgrade my garage electrical.
@TheSnekkerShow
2 жыл бұрын
I was on a 20A breaker, and using a 40' 12-gauge extension cord for about half of the job (which is not recommended). I thought about measuring draw, and I'm not sure why I didn't. Either way, 20A spikes are not likely to cause problems even with a 15A circuit as long as they're short and infrequent. This video explains why: kzitem.info/news/bejne/k2qck35mpYigYHo

I went with a stainless steel surface cleaner with casters. It's costs more of course but you get what you pay for. Thanks for answering my question on the washer. I have one on order with Amazon, ordered two weeks ago and it's not due to arrive till after 4th at the earliest and possibly the end of the month at the latest. Getting a bit impatient with the wait but my local Lowe's doesn't stock it, so.
