I like it. The one issue I’ve noticed was there was very little physicality outside of josh and Dawson Knox. Diggs, John brown, Beasley, Kincaid, cooks, Shakir, Gabe Davis, Mackenzie etc the weapons have been very small and shifty. We have Samuel and Shakir. So I’m looking forward to having a big target

Solomon with some proper development can turn into a discount Rashean Mathis from Indy. Those long arms can really make a difference with him being shorter. Mathis and Freeney used to get so low around the edge because of those traits. He's the best fit to round out the room with the bigger power guys in Groot and Epenesa. Great guy to spend a year learning from a hopefully fully healthy Von.

Evidently he clicked with Josh pre-draft and that was a factor. Also, he's meaner than Legette, more entitled on those jump balls.

@@jakethethird1584 While I don’t think Epenesa and Rousseau are as good as the Bills do, I don’t think they draft guys in the sixth round to get real playing time out of them and are probably not expecting them to crack the rotation. McDermott has a long history of not playing rookies. The only ones he HAS given significant time have been first or second rounders. Plus they lost Matakevich and Lawson, so they need to replace them on kicking teams. Especially with the weird new kickoff rules. Is Olofushio going to beat out Milano, Bernard, and Williams? Maybe Williams, but he is an injury replacement. Buffalo uses three linebacker maybe twice a week. There is likely no room for him outside of kicking teams.
@jakethethird1584
5 ай бұрын
@@scottldcp A few things....they don't have to beat out anybody...they just have to crack the rotation and provide good minutes if they are ready. It's good to let your rookies play a few during the season to give them experience. Regarding Rousseau and AJ, the both provide value for what they are being paid at their age. Third, McDermott will need to play rookies more for the first time in his coaching career due to the cap.
