This was Page at his best. Sadly, drugs and poor training led to a quick decline. As for LeDoux, he fought the best of the best, time and again and always acquitted himself well. Gotta give him credit

Scott LeDoux always complained when the fight was stopped after getting the crap kicked out of him. The only time he seemed glad it was over was when Foreman flattened him. This may have been one of the best showings of Page's career, second only to his KO of Coetzee for the WBA title.

Scott Ledoux could really brawl but had no defense against a quick jab. He tried to avoid punches by moving his head out of the way like Muhammad Ali but he was too slow against seasoned boxers. I think he may have been in the conversation with the greatest fighters, had he kept his gloves up and made himself much harder to hit. He waited for a big counter punch opportunity which worked against brawlers but failed against solid boxers. Loved his courage and honesty though.

Page shunned his home town support as a cocky amateur that wiped his feet on the golden glove belt and robe in the ring after having winning the last time he fought a 3 rounder. He was lazy and a bum no fire. Sad had lots of talent. Ducked out of a sparring section Troy E. had set up or me, Ha! I was "old" pops they called me. 28 year old amateur having fun and learning it takes a special individual to go past 3 rounds. HARDEST Work a man could ever do. I was going to hit him with body shots then duck! Humble respect self defense, boxing excellent sport. Should have a boxing team in every high school!

Ok No one needs a history lesson here.. about Muhammad the prophet and Mr. Clay the noble gentleman who opposed slavery. That being said Cassius Clay had his name changed to Muhammad Ali. While he lived He was referred to by his new Name out of common RESPECT and simple courtesy for his dignity as a person. The man himself demanded that he be called by his new name and worldwide that was accepted. Even bigots referred to him by his new name. Calling him Clay makes absolutely zero sense when taking this into consideration.

+Joe Darcy Not trying to create friction since I know nothing of the guy personally but I have heard him called a thief a few times and I never can coax anyone into being specific about what he stole. They seem to always say "he stole their money" and never specify beyond a very general charge. Stealing is against the law. They put people in jail for that all the time. Why, may I ask, are the authorities allowing him to steal "on and on" and no DA is ever charging him? No boxer has sued for restitution and won? Is King some type of Teflon superman? Its just so odd if these are the facts that you report. King must be an amazing guy if every DA and prosecutor fears him to such a degree. Would you concur or is there some other explanation?
