King Charles II lived in Bruges (1656-1659) and raised the Grenadier Guards in 1656 in Bruges...

2:35 - The Company of Pikemen & Musketeers, Honourable Artillery Company marches into the square. The Company traditionally dates its origins to 1537 when Henry VIII granted a charter to the Fraternity or Guild of Artillery of Longbows, Crossbows and Handguns for ‘the better increase of the defence of this our realm’ and ‘the maintenance of the science of artillery’.

@@Harzhopper Those look from the mid 17th century, when the Honourable artillery Company became deeply intertwined with the English Civil Wars, supporting Parliament and providing vital experienced gunners and infantry to Parliament in the vital 1642 defence of London.

Mrkaaniko oh sorry, as mentioned by someone else in the comments, it was the 360th anniversary. I'm not sure if it is celebrated annually.

If I recall correctly it is one of the Branles. Old (french) folkdances. It is an old dance for sure. I just to dance those years back.

Klopt. Een regiment is verdeeld in een bataljon en die is weer verdeel in een compagnies (rond de 100-120 man) en dit is de Nijmegen Company Grenadier Guards zie ik. Extra info haha maar een mooie opname!
