Weird, it seems like Ryan accidentally (?) skipped a chunk of the sleeping dogs video. He says they jumped ahead from message 2 to message 9, but the original video plays through messages 3-8 with more calls and more trail cam footage. Going off of the timestamps in the chapters versus the video length you can see in Ryan's video, the original is at least 4 minutes longer (I thought maybe there was an earlier version of the video or something to explain the difference, but it definitely looks like he just missed a few minutes somehow). There's some good/important stuff in those missing messages too, such as a mention of a character who shows up later and some inconsistencies between their stories, and a better showing of how things went off the rails in between. All the more reason to watch the videos for yourself, I guess?
@notmahad7229

29:40 maybe why the baby disappeared was because the mother made it into a thoughtform, since she was emotional about her baby, and very concentrated on it, and thus it was made into a thoughform that doesn’t have a physical form just yet possibly, and the news article about her death may be that same thoughtform that ended up killing her after it made up a form to take? Since we know they aren’t safe at all, I think it’s possible.

@heresywithana
Жыл бұрын
@@febinjohn2030 I'm unsure if Ryan has collabed with Baz after the end of the channel, but just from this video I can say they're still on pretty friendly terms. Ryan probably just didn't say anything because there probably wasn't much to say, just that Baz is leaving to make his own independent channel. They also might never end up restarting the channel again since the whole idea was to give Baz an independent community, one that doesn't rely on Ryan to survive (This doesn't mean that Baz and Ryan won't collab tho, it's probably just because Baz's content is way to different from Ryan now, and there really isn't much content they can make with each other now).

So my very simplistic way of thinking about the whole GREYLOCK series is that... 1. Our main protagonists uncovered the truth behind this weird organisation that was testing "tulpa" phenomenon. 2. The preaching about depvil and not turning to the dark side, might have something to do with the monster and the tunnels in Greylock Mt. If tulpa was real, maybe evil/devil as a concept in human minds, by all the sacrifices and thought given to it throught history, throught cultures somehow manifested as this killer entity, which hunted down the archaeologist. Maybe the home invaders brought it to live again by killing so many. A blind guess tbh 3. The baby dissapearing might be a manifestaion of dad's mind. Maybe he couldn't bear the with the situation and wished the baby would stop existing. 4. The malformation of the miners, workers etc. - I don't see the connection yet, but it is obviously connected to the mountain hazardous effect on the mind and body aswell.
@novembreletson2739

Why would the dad want the baby to disappear? The way the mom sounded they both wanted a baby and he even chose a name for him. The mom also wanted the baby too so if what you said was true maybe she made it sound like he did want him but if that was true then why did the dad name the baby? I am so confuse on the baby part.

The baby didn't disappear because of the dad. There was never a baby to begin with. It was a thoughtform. There is a condition that causes women to believe they are pregnant. Combine this with the ability to create thoughtforms and a false pregnancy such as this could occur. That brief pulse that knocked out the power may have disrupted the thoughtform.

Ahh!!~ I love Rob Gavagan and his teams work with Grey Lock! They've made some pretty creepy work, and upload about once a month. Also, the white stuff is called snow. Just so you know. Lol, I know you know what snow is. But yeah, all the footage is real. Staged, but filmed in the real world. Also the "preacher" on the radio is Rob. I love his voice. Even my grandmother loves his voice.

25:21 I always feel bad seeing Ryan like this, since he does this stuff for us as well, even if it makes him uncomfortable. So thank you very much for doing all of this on your channel, from horror games, to this type of analog horror. Thanks for them all since there’s some of us who like it, with the comedy you and others bring to it 😊

Analog horrors when it takes place in a state or country you're currently in makes it 10x more scarier imagining that this can happen

my stomach dropped when sleeping dogs mentioned god because as soon as the topic was brought up, the idea of god being a thoughtform popped into my head that was wild this worshipped, almighty figure for eons is a construct of humanity but he exists that was a wild revelation

I think ive come up with a theory. O think those people in the tunnels all the back in 11,000 BCE have been worshipping the devil, and those cave explorers got mutalated and turned into ravish monsters. The thoughtforms could be lost angels or goals to kidnapp infants and people. That could explain the cults that followed the thoughtforms. This series is just...wow

Its kind of disappointing to me that Ryan skipped a large portion of Sleeping Dogs which is my second favorite in the series only behind Old Odd Ends. Especially since Arnold Rivers was first mentioned in Sleeping Dogs minorly and then played a big role in Old Odd Ends. probably my favorite scene in the series is the last audio message before Paul deforms himself, as well as Arnold's death as well, both are horrifying episodes but Sleeping Dogs was neglected which is kind of sad.

Wait, what happened to the "miners discovers tunnels during excavation and gets super sick" tape? A lot of the middle is just missing. What happened there.

I love the degraded quality of the "non-existent file", really gives the feeling the file was attempted to be deleted by corrupt officials
