Glad I could help! That and the price were the dealmakers for me. Other Camp Chef videos have how-to's, but I'm going to have my plumber do it.

I'm in the same boat right now. I want the Gridiron 36 in the worst way but I'm hesitant to drill the orifices. I contacted an assembly company and they, too, won't drill anything because it will negate the warranty. Let me know, please, if you do/did buy the Gridiron and have it converted to ng. Thank you.

Can you do the bread test to see where all the hot spots are?

I'm editing now, but right side is cool, left side is hot. All dials set to medium, but watch the vid soon.

Does the grill not get hot enough to cook without the lid down ?

Camp Chef says you should only cook on lower heat with the lid closed and shouldn't keep it closed for an extended period of time, like to melt cheese and stuff.

@@seattlebitcoinbroker6564where can I find the article from camp chef talking about this?

Hi. It does generate lots of heat, definitely for grilling. If you use the lid it traps heat and steam to help with faster cooking. Good question.

@@WHYBSBBQ-if7zt okay so the difficulty with the heat in the video was due to the low propane.
