It’s very satisfying when a product actually lives up to expectations and does what the manufacturer claims! 👏😀👍🏍

They are good for me, got them on all mine and bought foam sleeves for brake and clutch levers as I really suffer no matter what bike it is

Coincidently I bought some lever sleeves ages ago and never got round to using them…will have a dig about for them now you’ve reminded me 😆

Good video. I use them on my cb650r because my hands like a bigger grip and it helps a little with occasional numbness. They also transfer the heat quite well from the factory heated grips.

They’re certainly good as long as you’re comfortable with them 👍🏻

Another good video, thank you. I find it's just been my right hand that has gone a bit numb on my Suzuki (650/1000) V twins and Triumph (675/800) triples so just fit them to the throttle side over the heated grips. Two bikes from one pack :) make it a no brainer cost wise for long distance comfort. Going down to the Alps via the twists and turns of Route Napoleon this autumn I found the only down side was where a lot of braking effort, due to the terrain and the wider grip, caused my hand to fatigue a little sooner that i'd normally expect but it was at the end of a long days riding. Much better the rest of the time though!

Mine have just started to deteriorate after 15000 miles fitted over oxford heated grips. The only downside for me is the increased size of the grips can make it a bit more of a stretch to reach the levers. Fixed 90% of the hand buzz and numbness though.

Made a big difference for me and agree about slight thicker grip but worth it in the end

Nice quick video. I thought you had a wiring issue at 7:30 but it looks like dead bug splatter on the Oxford cable 😂 I presume the heated grips may only be a marginal loss of temperature and that some folk may have to use a higher % when using them. Thinking about for my cb125f but still unsure.

You’ve caught me out, I’m not into deep cleaning…plenty of dead bugs as mementos of my travels 😂 yes, only marginal loss of temperature and even in winter I’d only be using on mid setting most of time so plenty of extra capacity 👍🏻

I went to a 16tooth front sprocket makes a massive difference to first gear and drops the revs at higher speeds .

Sounds good, does it lose anything at low speed..less torque?

just fitted these an hour ago to my 750 hornet, coz more often than not i get pins and needles and a numb right thumb, so hope they help a bit. I also use athletic wrist brace supports that help on long days too. on my last bike i fitted 25mm pullback risers as well, so may do that as well. btm mine just say 'for motorcycle/scooter' and not specifically honda, and slid on with about the same force as you used here, so i don't think the label makes a difference either. I put these on my Yamaha R3 and they hurt my hands more than the stock ones. Put pressure points on my palms and made them red. I think just a little too thick perhaps.
@thecampingbiker791

@@JBAYMEDIA I could understand that, they are a bit thick but guess that’s what helps with vibration.. I’ve changed bike since then and haven’t put them on new bike but personally haven’t had an issue with pressure points 👍🏻

@@thecampingbiker791 Yeah. I actually found vibration wasn’t any better with them on, but it probably depends on the bike you are riding. The R3 doesn’t have that much vibration to begin with. I like the idea and feel of these puppies, they just didn’t work for me.

Maybe a silly question, but don't they need any adhesive to make them stick?
@thecampingbiker791
Жыл бұрын
Not silly at all…. no glue needed as they’re a very tight fit and have that sticky but not sticky (if you know what I mean) type of rubber on the inside so grip well, which is also why using soap helps to get them on…even then they can need patience to twist on.
