The throw pattern reminds me of the Boom scarf...It was fun to make... I have been enjoying your podcasts very much.

Hi Tracy! Loved this! We have so much in common. I don’t like Halloween either, have small feet, love green, and have a similar binder system for circs. :)

Loved your podcast! When Covid started I set a goal of learning to knit socks. I started with no fear sock knitting by Denise DeSantis. She has great tutorials on KZitem for sock knitting using different techniques and needles (dpns, circular, majic loop). Another option I really liked was the “fish lips kiss heel” the pattern ($1) is essentially about the heel but it also goes into measuring your foot for perfectly fitting socks. It really works so no more guessing. I have since started toe up using different shapes of the toe instead of round. Hope this helps!

Hi Tracy, I knit the cuff on one sock, then the other socks cuff, then I knit to the start of the heel flap on both socks, both socks get a heel flap, then one sock gets a heel turn, gusset picked up/decreased, the other sock gets the same treatment, then one sock gets done to the toe, the same on the other, then one toe gets done and Kitchener stitched before I do the other toe, I hope this makes sense, I love that sock yarn you cast on, I love your. sweaters too, have a great week and happy knitting, my interchangeable live in a now discontinued Namaste makers portfolio, my cables live in the page protector pockets and my fixed circulars also live in the pockets, my other set of interchangeable s live in a case I found on Etsy.

I love your needle storage - brilliant! I use something very similar -- those dollar store zip pencil cases with three-ring holes for a binder, only I don't have mine in a binder. I will now when I collect enough circulars. Thanks for the great idea!

Hi Tracey! Love your Hipster shawl and the yarns you chose. I'm tackling my first pair of socks -- wondering what brand of dpn's you are using? I need a pretty good pair that are sturdy. Enjoying your podcast -- your passion for all things fiber shines through!

Thank you Karee. I am so glad that you are enjoying my channel. I am using Lykke needles (driftwood). These are my favourite needles but I know what you mean about being sturdy. Because they are so thin, I feel like they are a bit fragile. I might get another type to compare.

Great podcast! Love your projects! I also have a question. Do you guys have Drops yarn in Canada? Because I love their yarn, but I can’t find it in the US. So I ordered from Europe, and it’s takes forever to ship... It will probably be faster and less expensive to order it from Canada.
