Grocery shopping in Iceland is interesting but don't be scared! Just take your time and remember to switch the language on self check-out to YOUR LANGUAGE!!! LOL.

as an icelander that works at the store you were in this i was crying at the end of this video cuz you did so many things wrong including when you returned the shopping cart but you can't expect tourists to know everything about it, it is what it is

We did make plenty of mistakes! Actually not choosing English mad it really tough. What was the self checkout saying? We were back this year and made fewer mistakes but still couldn't figure out what it was saying! We should have asked but I bet the same thing happens here in the USA (tourists making boo boos). Whenever we did ask the Icelandic people were very kind.

Hi Tanith! Good to know that all taste the same. :). Here in the US where we shop they have more white eggs than brown. We are use to buying the white eggs. Funny in Scotland I remember they had brown eggs and Chuck asked me so I yelled it across the store. LOL.
