While seeing the root system in the bowl is so cool. And I'm only halfway through the video. And I totally expected to see algae by now. That's a pretty cool system.

I just purchased one of these, thank you for the discount code. I have a plant I grow to use the roots for a medicinal tea. I think this is going to make that process a lot easier.

WESTTUNE brand has a clear tub design as well. But theirs is totally clear and that probably might cause algea growth. Dare to test it for us too ? :)

How often did you add nutrition to these radishes?
@aerogardenexperiments
8 ай бұрын
Since these radishes are a short crop, I had to add nutrients only twice. First time on day ~3 and the second time on day ~18.

Is this system compatible with aerogarden pods? Do you have videos or experience with transplanting from aerogarden into pots? I think i overcrowded my plants 😅
@aerogardenexperiments
10 ай бұрын
Yes, these pods are compatible with Aerogarden. Regarding transplanting, it is very straightforward. I would simply take out the pod, remove the basket (looking a little bit of roots is totally fine), and place them straight into the pod. Do your best to preserve the roots as much as possible, but don't worry. Plants can (re)develop roots if they really need.

Do you have advice for cilantro growing in MUFGA that’s falling over/ not standing upright properly? Any reason for this? I used the paper napkin method to help sprout the cilantro but they don’t look great now. They’re completely green and aromatic, so there doesn’t seem to be another visible issue. Thanks in advance!

If the seedlings are not positioned deep into the sponge, they won't get enough stability. If the plants are still young, I recommend repositioning them little deep into the sponge.

How did u get all that in 20 days??? I’m trying to grow basil in AeroGarden and it’s been almost 30 days and they are still small and I can’t use basil. Rep told me to put light on low and still not growing fast. I don’t use their miracle grow I use my own organic fertilizer. What am I doing wrong. ???

Initial development of any plant requires more Nitrogen. Hope the fertilizer you are using has enough Nitrogen. Second thing is, depending the variety, seedlings like Basil need warm temperature (~65-70F). Also, the growth depends on the basil variety too. Dwarf Greek Basil is very aggressive while Thai Basil is little slow.

@@aerogardenexperiments thank u so much for explaining. I’ll check the nitrogen tomorrow. Do u think the miracle grow fertilizer is ok. I just don’t like chemicals and I’m sure the plants absorb them

I am also very skeptical to grow radishes in a hydroponics system like this ...beause this root prefer 5-8 hours of growlights.( short-day plant, ) and also because of algae... P.S. your electricity bills should be so high so I won't use no more than 1 . And all my fruit crops always didnt get fruits- they all are fallen down after some time...
@aerogardenexperiments

Not a huge difference in electricity bill. All the systems I have comes with LED and a small pump so not a huge impact.
