This actually demonstrates beautifully how complicated it is to set up a Trolmaster system. No videos out there show how to actually do the nuts and bolts of installing, wiring and setting up a Trolmaster system, which Trolmaster products to buy and how to use them...which units to buy (humidifier/ dehumidifier/AC) that will actually work as intended with the Trolmaster setup and how to actually connect them to the adaptors (? Need to be an mini electrical engineer/ electrician/computer programmer to understand what people are saying online and what to do to install things). Beautiful setup mate. I wish I had seen your video before venturing into Trolmaster. It's obviously way above my intellect.

I'll say it again beautiful setup with state of the art control of everything, what more can you ask for. Add your experience and you are truly "Value Added" to our community. I only imagine how many folks you've helped over the years. It's because of what happened to you with the off gassing of those tents you had, is only one thing you've had me dig deeper to figure out what to watch out for.. "once of prevention" right lol.. hope you're well ✌️💚

So, the think grow puts out far red 750 nanometers but the trolmaster par sensor only detects up to 690 nanometers? What's the point of that if it can't detect 8% of the photons my lights are putting out how's that accurate?

Excellent set up. I also have the HydroX and can say it can get really frustrating and expensive setting it all up and figuring out how it works. I also have a thermostat controller for my Mr. Cool Minisplit but have found that if you have two air handlers for one condenser; they can't be used in Auto function with the HydroX. Basically if one room is blowing cool air, the other room can't be blowing hot air. They both have to be blowing the same type of air otherwise one them won't work. Example, flower room was a little hot and cool air kicked on, but at the same time the Veg room was to cold and needed hot air but would not come on due to the Flower room was blowing cold air. Wish I knew this before I bought this $2,000 unit LOL. I for one would have loved to see how you set up your HydroX and all the of the controllers. I'm having a difficult time figuring out the controllers for my Dehumidifer, along with the A/C infinity exhaust fan. I would love to try the AquaX but still need to buy controllers for the HydroX first, SMH. Again I love your setup and hope one day you can explain a little more in detail of why you did what you did, if that makes sense. I'm looking to expand my flower room so I'm going to have to a complete overhaul of everything including hiring someone to disconnect one minisplit air handler. Thus I am going to try your idea of running RJ12 cables through the wall.

Just so you know, that might be a Mr. cool specific issue. My Daiken unit can have different heads blowing hot and cool as long as they are both in auto mode. Only time it won’t work is if one unit is set to cool mode specific and the other being in heat.

@@GrowerMD Yes, I believe you are correct, it is a Mr. Cool issue. I've talked with the Mr. Cool customer service and they have newer models that can handle both, I just seemed to have gotten an older model. Thanks

@@GrowerMD Hello, After further research and calling Mr Cool again I've found out that my units do the same as yours as long as they are all set to Auto Mode. Though now the ARS-1 does not operate the mini-split in auto mode. Was curious how you set up your ARS-1 to your mini split? Aslo, does the temp set showing on your mini-split match the same temp set on your HydroX or ARS-1? For example, the temp set for day time is 76 degrees on the Hydro X, but my mini split is still stuck at 86 degrees which was the last temp set during the addressing setup with the ARS-1. Everything seemed to work during the addressing setup of the ARS-1 (with the mini-split in Auto Mode) but the Hydro X just won't seem to control the mini split. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Nice set up.... I do have a question... in need of assistance actually. I have both trolmaster set ups. Hydro X and Aqua-X. In need of help with my Aqua-X. I recently purchased a Leader 110 pump w/ hydromatic. I connected it to a trolmaster program switch and to a power source. I then connected the RJ cable to the Aqua-X. For some reason, my pump will not start at programed times. I have it set up to run for 10 seconds every hour. I connected the pump to direct power and it does come on. The program switch is new. Just purchased. Any help is appreciated.

Does trolmaster sell those black power strips that the plug adapters go into? Have three 20 Amp circuits in a room. The 3 lights i have use 16 amps at 120v, if I add a 4th it brings me to 21ish Amp which I would need to tap into another circuit. Whats the best way to plug everything in/how many outlets do I need. Very hard to get an answer from the company, told me to buy a power strip. I'm guessing I would need 2 power strips connected to 2 different 20amp circuits, giving me the extra space/Amps I need. Am I close to being correct? Thanks 😊

How do I like using the trolmaster system. I have the hydro x for lights ,co2,dehumidifier,humidifier, Par, split unit. haven’t set it up yet. WS wondering how accurate it was an if there where major swings with any of the controls an monitoring. Because I’m hearing that smart bee system may be a better option. Hope not 😳

All that "fancy" equipment is completely overkill and not really necessary at all to have an amazing grow. Same with the ridiculous nutrient regimen. You can literally get the same results using npk base with calcinit and mag sulfate. Nice setup but its hilariously excessive imo

Geofry- you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Sure, if you live in a favorable climate like Northern California or Southern Oregon, you can toss plants outside into amended soil and feed a relatively simple organic regiment and produce abundant and healthy crops. As far as indoor, every single one of these sensors provides real time feedback, and takes all guess work out of cultivation. You know exactly every single variable in the environment, and can dial in crazy feed regiments for explosive growth and quick flower times. Youre probably growing in pro mix with super cheap salts and water by "feel"....great. You're never going to crop steer and hit 3,4+ pounds a light, which is cool. Do your thing and stop bullying people. I could poke 1000 holes in your cultivation techniques.
