Ocean forest strawberry fields potting soil. Expensive but good stuff
I can attest to black cow they make it not far from where I live. I have picked up directly from them for years.

Has anyone tried substituting the Pete moss with coco coir?

moss is acidic which is better for berries. if you’re growing something that doesn’t need acidity coco coir works just as well

NONE of the strawberry plants I've grown have been successful. (I've done this mixture too, so I'm not sure that it's soil related.) I'm in central Florida. Anyone I've talked to about strawberries locally have been having problems the past 2 years, also.

I use 1/2 creek sand 1/2 peat moss (black gold peat is 10x better and same price as that lowes stuff). Then mix equally with pine bark and black cow. Silt helps lower the acidity and drain.
