Coming from someone that has been braiding their hair for 2 years I always get my hair done every 3 weeks-5 weeks by my mother. I have to say my hair has grown a lot i get trims here and there when my ends get bad and that also increases hair growth. I drink only water atleast 3-4 bottles a day of water and hood sleep helps out growing hair too. I’ve been growing my hair from a buzz cut since aug 202 0 to now and I have grown 11 inches of hair if i straighten it, it will probably be around 2-3 inches longer. those are my tips to grow your hair faster and longer

I don’t think braiding your hair Helps with growing it 😂 I just think it helps you notice the new growth more For instance , you dye you hair , then you will notice how much new growth because of the two colors tones . PERSONALLY braiding my hair does not help it ! It actually breaks it and cause too much shedding , and I truly don’t braid tight 🤷🏽♀️ It’s not protective for me Different strokes for different folks I just let my hair be free I have less than an inch of hair January this year . Now my hair is touching the bottom of my neck where my back starts . Just eat well , leave fried foods alone , junk , soda , drink plenty of water , take your vitamins and take biotin gummies and I’m sure you will see a major difference

Bro I cut my hair low last year July, after 6 months my hair grew to 3½ inches and I braided it a week ago. After braiding it for the first 2days my scalp was paining me and my head was aching me but I just loose it today after a week,I'm planning on plaiting it back after a month though but before then I want it to grow to 4 or 4½ inches but for now after I loose the hair it's 5 inches long and I like the afro look, especially when it's rough and afro 😍. But now how can I maintain this rough and afro look for a month before plaiting it,if I want to bath with soap how should I do it. This is my plan though, once I plait my hair I'll keep it for either 1,1½ or 2 weeks depends on me,but assuming the hair wasn't paining me at all or the end of the cornrow braids was long I'd keep it for a month,so I'll keep the braids for those time I mentioned above and loose it for a month and plaiting it and keep it for a week. This is my own proxy, but how will I keep the afro when I want to bath with soap, like how will I bath with the hair

sounds like you’re doing everything right I would say instead of mixing leave in conditioner and water in a spray bottle, you could boil some rosemary and drain the water in a spray bottle and use that instead it wouldn’t be oil it would be like a refreshing spray Watch my video on how to make rosemary oil rosemary mist here kzitem.info/news/bejne/tICZrGGKo5WmfnY i’d say you could substitute that for your water and conditioner spray and make sure to put a leave in conditioner in your hair Intensive hydration conditioner if it’s the leave in you can use that as a leave in … if it’s the conditioner by itself it’s meant to be a washout conditioner there is also a hair masque that you can use as a deep conditioner but your doing good , id say just be patient and wait until your hair gets long enough to braid and the second it is go ahead and start braiding it 🙌🏾💯

I'm now considering braiding my hair but people tend to see you as irresponsible where I live... I would even feel very shy about it

@@kingreidyz I'm from Nigeria. Not that there aren't guys with braided hairs but our cultural background and experiences just make people esp the elderly more inclined to see you as irresponsible
