It's finally here!!!! Drum roll please.... Presenting my seed grown hibiscus which has bloomed -MitraH मित्रः । The flower bloomed on the 29 th of January 2023! This is my first time lapse video too! I slept with the lights on that night, and I kept waking up in between to look at the stage of the bloom. I was relieved to see the flower has pollen and stigma 😅.
Like I have been telling in a lot of my videos and setting my expectations to not expect anything exotic because the crosses are with common flowers. I am very happy with this bloom and it even has a few yellow spots (father's color) on the edges of a few petals.
There are a couple of more buds and I'm looking forward to those blooms too to see if these patterns are a common occurrence in this plant.
