Hi Alex it’s always nice to hear from you. Your tropical garden is amazing. We are dealing with Milton right now. So far so good. Looks like landfall will be towards Orlando. These storms just don’t want to give up. I’ll be planting a winter garden. My husband loves Palms he planted one in our front yard it’s huge. Until next time enjoy your garden

As a young girl my family lived in Miami and when we went to the beach my brother and I would find coconuts that had sprouted. Fun memories.

Thank you so much, stay safe with Milton. It's a rough night in Florida. I hope it is the last for a long time!

Bismarckia seems like a tough one to overwinter indoors. Great looking plants. I did notice that the plumeria looks like it wants some fertilizer to help green up a bit.

Thanks for the kind words! I definitely had more luck with Bismarkia keeping it as an indoor-outdoor plant through the winter whenever it was sunny. I had no problems this winter, but found them to be finicky even when I lived in Florida when they're young! The plumerias are starting to get a lighter green color because I am keeping them dry so they will go dormant inside. They will get a big dose of fertilizer in March!
