Peanuts and cotton are not just grown in the South! At this workshop, GreenThumb community gardener Willie Morgan and his son Aaron Morgan shared tips for growing and harvesting peanuts and cotton in Harlem. Mr. Morgan is well known for planting and tending to cotton and peanuts at the Harriet Tubman Memorial statue around the corner from his garden, where he teaches visitors about the legacies of slavery. He also farms dozens of varieties of heirloom vegetables and herbs.
