In today's video I talk about how I use to be someone who enabled others because I was a chronic people please and push-over. Although enablers do become apart of the problem, I also find myself understanding why they do it and how they become this way. We all have a desire to feel important, to feel liked, to feel needed, but unfortunately some people take advantage of the givers in their lives. So how can we stop enabling? Self acceptance, detaching from the feeling that you are suppose to save others, and creating healthy boundaries. If being the 'bad guy' or being disliked is the price to pay for standing firm in establishing healthy expectations and peace, then welcome to being a Villain lol!
If you guys have any questions please feel free to comment them, I'd love to do a Q&A eventually!
