I’m not Japanese, or no disrespect to the language, I understood every word and exactly what they were talking about. So glad I found this video. This is awesome…
@@リバーフリーク Interesting comments! How much power / torque was car making? maybe lack of fueling + 2nd cyl runs leanest as the intake manifold runner is the shortest (or most staraight -> gets more air than 1. and 3rd?)
This worries me. The Corolla GR will soon be on sale in the USA. I was excited because most versions of the Toyota Corolla were very reliable. However, most were also boring. Most cars that are fun to drive aren't as reliable as a Toyota Corolla. The Corolla GR could have given people both. People who like fun compact cars would often buy a VW GTI or Subaru WRX, but most Toyotas were better than those cars. It looks like the exhaust valve seat fell out. That often happens in Chrysler engines. The cause is too loose of an interference fit. When rebuilding a Chrysler engine, valve seats with a tighter interference fit are used. Did this engine get hot? Sometimes getting hotter than normal, but not overheating will still cause valve seats to fall out.
@@muro-gnomise Thanks for your explaination. I agree, this could be because people push such cars harder. The Subaru WRX might also be considered more reliable if people would calm down when driving.
@@muro-gnomise Only 0W20 grades are formulated to protect from LSPI (ILSAC GF-6A/API SP/RC), so this is possibly what happened. LSPI is said it can be very violent...
