Especially with being an unplanned purchase 😅 but very glad we’ve got it for the rebuild, it’ll be so useful for us

Looks mint guys. Whats your reason for going with this new 80 series rather than your white one?

Cheers mate! The new one is a GXL which has the tailgate rear door set up compared to the old one which is a DXL model that has the barn doors, we prefer the tailgate!

Interesting build guys, just curious on how you’re finding the engineering process in Wa with the coilovers?

Thanks for watching! We’ve been talking to Packard Automotive in Perth, we’re pretty much following their guidelines. We’ve had no issues with the engineering process so far, just something to keep in mind though - the application for a complex vehicle modification through DOT takes a while so if you’re planning to do something similar definitely look at putting in your application months in advance! Packard Automotive have been super helpful with answering any questions along the way too 😊

@@sand_to_outback thanks for the reply, just wasn’t sure what the DOTs thoughts were on coilovers here in WA where even changing tyre size can be a nightmare 🤣 Keen to see more progress, cheers.
