We finally got to see the blue waters of the Bassin blue. Even though it was rain a little, you could really see the blue Watters. Last year it was raining so much that the water was mixed with sand and mud so we couldn't even swim in it. To get to the basin you're looking at about a 15 min hike and it is accessible to everyone until you get to a climbing location that you need to pull yourself up a rope. But beyond that they're a pool that you can swim in and you can also enjoy the blue waters. Prior to that we were at plage malendure where I was able to swim with the turtles, starfish and other species of fish. After swimming with the turtles and a small hike what better but to go and relax in a hot steamy ocean bath in Bouillante. Bouillante is where you will find a hot stream coming out of the volcano rushing down into the ocean. Don't go to close of the exiting area of the stream as you will get burnt. Slowly go to the exiting point of the stream and when its at a good temperature for you relax for a few minute then get carried by the courante away from the hot stream.
