I couldn't agree more. Guatemala City is a fantastic, clean safe city. I am there right now and my original plan was to stay 1 night in the City and then head out to Antigua. Well, 6 days later, I am still in Guatemala City enjoying the pizza, cafes, the cool climate and great coffee. The vibe is cosmopolitan. I have talked to so many friendly people here. I will definintely be back again. All the guide books and internet sites say to leave the city quick. Boy - are they wrong! By all means, Guatemala City is a destination in its own right.

So true . Is so rich and beautiful the United Kingdom of Guatemala established since 1609 and that extends from El Soconusco (today Chiapas) to part of Panama. Guatemala is 12th producer of silver in the world and 20th producer of gold besides having massive reserves of nickel, jade and so many other natural resources too bad for almost a century big foreign anglosaxon multinational corporations have been taking almost everything. Long live Juan Santamaria the heroe of Costa Rica who died in battle against the anglo pirates. The Malvinas belong to Argentina, The Esequibo belongs to Venezuela and Belice belongs to Guatemala. Guatemala exploited and sabotaged for almost a century but never gives up!!. God bless

Hello. I am a Guatemalan-American that was born and lives in California. I visited Guatemala in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. I visited my relatives and went to famous places in Guatemala. I also distributed Spanish Gospel tracts in Guatemala too. And I am going to visit Guatemala again in May.

Good stuff you two. Have you seen many El Pollo Campero locations? About three locations opened up here in L.A. about 10 years ago, and I understand it's a Guatemala original.

@@TheYarbros So, give me a 1 -10 rating. Here in LA I give it a 5. I found it kind of bland. But then again it's hard to compete with places like Golden Bird, Church's, or Louisiana Chicken, lol.

@@imagesinla8575 It totally surprised us. The Grilled gets and 8, the crispy also an 8 didn't try the original yet....looked bland :))

Wow amigos, I just loved your video. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video about my country. As you see it is not as some people say. Not dangerous, not dirty nothing negative. Guatemala is such an underrated country, you'll be surprised. The positive issue is that you have so much to see, discover, its people treat you the best way possible and they are very kind as well. Come back when you desire. Blessings.
