Arkansas has lots of BLM land but its hard to find and get to due to the remoteness. Not much free otherwise. Because it's a travel and outdoor industry location mid to north they don't allow for van life type free camping

Watch out they are ran by the feds and I was totally harassed, threatened, ticketed and told “I have to show up in person” to court even though I don’t live in the state or they will issue “warrants for my arrest”. I was going to visit Hot Springs and was literally in the area for less than one hour when I had three rangers try to force me out of my van like I was a criminal because I was parked in the day parking after hours. It was right outside of the Gulph Gorge campsite and I had never been there before in my life. They obviously patrol the park multiple times every day and had never seen me as if I was a nuisance but they still had no problems treating me like an absolute criminal because my license plate was from California and my drivers license was from Hawaii. They kept asking me how many drugs I have in my van, if I had weapons, if I was on drugs, if I was drunk, if I had stolen my car, if I had warrants all while shining bright lights in my face in total darkness- complete assholes. I begged for them to let me leave and they just refused even though they knew I clearly had just made an innocent mistake and was happy to move on. I have tried to call and complain and that’s when I found out it’s federally ran and no one is in control of those rangers. They told me I would get a call back on how to file a formal complaint, I’ve called four times and I’ve heard nothing. They obviously don’t respect campers or travelers from out of state- even females by themselves. I refuse to get out of my vehicle, I was so scared for my life and I knew they would’ve just arrested me and ransacked my whole van -they literally told me they were dying to see what was inside of my van, they said there were “so many variables” I just looked suspicious--- outrageous. Shame on Arkansas

Looks like this was filmed last fall so that's a long production time... Seems this channel had gotten derailed and far from what it was a few years ago.
