There's a pretty big disconnect between the pros and the casuals because of the skill gap created by the mechanics of this game so there's a lot of hackusations going around because of that. The disconnect also pretty much makes players that don't actively search out a team to help them get better stuck at the same skill level. Honestly one of the quickest ways to learn how to drive fast is to just watch the fastest players race, and imitate what they do, and try to understand why they do it. That's how I started out and made rapid improvement, as well as joining a competitive team (you can see my progress from when I first started playing with my first few videos on this channel in 2019ish). I understand wanting to stay casual, but knowing how possibly fast you can get is also good knowledge to have, so here's this nice video to help with that.
Enjoy :)
