Great story telling as usual! I enjoyed seeing all the pictures from your jeep history at the beginning. You said that you think Sport Mode could help with the driving experience.. Would operating in Sport Mode more regularly cause parts to wear out faster or burn fuel at a noticeably higher rate?

I'm sure that it will burn more fuel - not sur how much more. You can shift on the fly - so leave it in Auto until you are getting on Nashville's crazy highway system. Once you are out of the mele flip back to auto.

Awesome review. I just bought a 2013 jgc limited 4x4 and I learned a lot about it watching this video. Thanks

My red 2011 Overland has the same wood trims like this one here and the leather is black, draws heat in the summer but looks nice. It has the 5.7 so sounds good too. These are cool vehicles to own, bit problematic but'd get the job done.

@@FatAmericansGuide The car gets a 17-18 average MPG, I drive mainly city/normal roads. It's quite a guzzler IMO but for that V8 power, it's also quite worthy

@@zaccorpseman7366 if you can touch 20mpg in a V8 SUV... it's kinda worth it. Nothing sounds like a V8... I do like the slight Diesel 'clack' in my 3.0L V6 Range Rover... "It's a TURBO!"

I'm here because this video had a 100 views and I wanna support a fat American. You're not that fat dude. Plus I love these WK2s with the Pentastar. I used to work as a tech at a Dodge dealership 👍

Heeeeyyy - we crested 100 views! Pedro - thanks for the kind words. Wish I had your experience with the 3.6. It is a good lump. Easiest oil change on the market! The later gearbox is better on fuel - but this is a great truck. It's back in Music City - hopefully giving them years of worry free motoring. - JDW

@@FatAmericansGuide I actually watched your video through to the end. You said a lot of good information about the Pentastar regarding the oil filter and spark plug replacement. I'm a Mopar guy through and through and enjoy videos like yours that are more informative and give opinions based on ownership experience. The bigger car channels have gotten more commercialized. Keep making videos, you have a good voice and a lot of knowledge.

@@FatAmericansGuide PS your comment on the ease of working on the Pentastar is why I love that engine so much. After working at Chrysler in my opinion the best vehicle they, make is the Wrangler with the Pentastar, such a simple machine. PS I don't have much experience on the 5 speed automatic but the later ZF 8 speed transmissions are an absolute gem. My job was just to drop and replace them but that was only ever on the Rams, I think people abuse them by towing way more than it's capable to. Never dropped an 8 speed on anything else.
