The blablabla glouglou moment is actually made for the guitarist to rest

Not only the rapid fire downstrokes, but wearing the guitar so low, Absolutely mental and counter productive at first but that’s what make it insane ! Your playing is absolutely perfect well done !

Some people say ramones music is simple, but this band has a beat on the drum and guitars; that's easy to play
@101Volts
Жыл бұрын
I'm sure that many who say it's "simple" never attempted to play it exactly right. Sure, the songs are simple on the surface, but try playing them properly with down-strums only.

Hardest Ramones song hands down 😂 just long barrages of downstrokes with few breaks, those chord changes are welcome moments of relief 😂

Hey man i need your opinion. Do you think Johnny Ramone was a good guitarist? Most say he wasnt and yet some say he was.
@HardlyRamone
27 күн бұрын
@@AntePetrovic-zv4re Johnny Ramone pioneered punk rock guitar and inspired countless guitarists of multiple generations and genres. He played in a way that was both a unique personal statement, and a suitable and exciting sound for the music his band created. His skills were very specialized, but he did things that were plenty “difficult” to accomplish with his instrument. He worked very hard to entertain and wow fans with dramatic stage presence and performances, and broke the “don’t meet your heroes” stigma offstage by being a friendly and appreciative hero to meet in person. He was a fairly flawed man, but he understood that being a guitarist who matters in the history books is about a great many things beyond technical finesse. Yes, I think he was a good guitarist.

What is the model of your guitar?
@HardlyRamone
3 жыл бұрын
It's a Squier Bullet Strat HSS, but I replaced the electronics/pickguard and installed a Hallmark "The '67" bridge pickup. This helps to get more of a fat high output sound, like a Mosrite. I also replaced the tuning keys and painted the headstock black.
