What a nice surprise to have a campfire version sneakily at the end! I guess that was self-inflicted by not reading your video title completely and just clicking it. Thanks for the early easter egg (sort of kind of) Ryan! Yes, I am easily amused.

A discussion on tone and the Kay! Very cool. This song is really about the rhythm and strum pattern. If you get that right, you got the song

the Kay got electric strings on it and it suddenly sounds grand and is much easier to play! I don't know why it took me a year to have that idea...

That acoustic looks like something that Jack White would play. It’s quite something to think that all the guitaring you’ve done didn’t include distortion pedals. My bud has only been playing a few years and has more pedals then I can count ... funny how people gravitate towards different sounds and tools. ✌️❤️🤘

Could the bass shift it down one fret also or does it need to be detuned? Just wondering the best way for the guitar and bass to play this version together.
@RyanLendt
3 жыл бұрын
you could play it down one fret unless there are any open strings in the bassline - which I think there are (off the top of my head) unless you're just going to play along with the root notes
