Outstanding instruction as usual, Mike! Some time ago I watched one of your older videos on pistol stuff where you described the hammer grip. That was really a big one for me in improving my shooting. I've also found that working on my one-handed shooting at least as much as my two-handed shooting has worked wonders for every aspect of my shot process (not to mention that it is an absolutely critical skill in defensive shooting). One-handed shooting will make you highly aware of a limp wrist if you're paying any attention to what you're doing! I'm looking forward to training with you in the not-too-distant future. Blessings, and thank you for your continued service to your country and its citizenry.

The shield is pretty small so you have a lot less real estate to work with. I recommend practicing at first on something at least the size of a g19 "compact" or full size. Once you feel good with that then you'll be able to transition the grip to something much smaller

Look, it doesn't matter what your background is, Mike Glover gives you what has cost him a lifetime to learn. He wants you to be better. He wants good people to prevail. He wants you to come to a class, but he knows that isn't always possible. The least you can do is download the wisdom presented and practice it in whatever manner you can afford (time and money doesn't grow on trees). My friend Pat Rogers, rest in peace and create havoc, used to always say "you have the rest of your life" to conquer the issue at hand, "don't fuck up". Fundamentals aren't sexy. Step by step seems beneath us. I would submit to you that there is absolutely nothing that works, lasts, or performs without proper foundation. Take your time. You have the rest of your life. Mike, thank you. Pat, we are diminished.

You can, and should, practice this at home every day. Keep a log of reps. IMHO, you start slow and do each rep to perfection. Muscle memory is real and is required to master any skill. You start slow in order to make sure you are doing each rep perfectly because if you do it sloppily, that sloppiness will be built into your muscle memory. You can build your speed up as you progress. You won't master it in a day, during a class, in a month, or even a year. It will take tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of reps to be able to do it correctly while also doing it with speed without even having to think about it. You don't have it mastered until you can do those things without even having to think about it.

“Co2 gas blowback isn’t practical.” Get out. There is a reason the grips are textured the way they are. There is a reason I only get 7 shots per mag. There is a reason why I can field strip, completely disassemble, and, reassemble a 1911 without ever owning the real deal. It is because, in a life or death situation, if a 1911 is nearby, I’m glad I was able to simulate using a 1911 to the best of my ability before going toe to toe with something threatening my life using the real deal.
