These guys will always be remembered as one of the greatest rock bands of all time. I saw them in Milan the 10th of July 2022 and they’re still amazing. Axl hasn’t the powerful voice as he used to have, but he’s still a great frontman and I completely forgot he doesn’t sing like in the past during the concert. Slash was perfect, I had goosebumps when he did his solos. Duff is an awesome bassist and his still very good looking. My dream is seeing them again with Izzy and Steven. I’ll pray for the original lineup to go back and go on tour together. I’ll always love them. Their music has always made me feel better and helped in a lot of situations. I’m so grateful to have discovered this unique band✨🙏🏻

I'm not afraid to say that "The Spaghetti Incident?" is probably the GNR album i listen to the most. When i first heard it i was not aware that it was all covers cause the band made the songs their own and it takes real talent for a band to fool you like that. "The Spaghetti Incident?" is a very underrated album that deserves more love. I bet if die-hard fans just give the album a chance, they would not be disappointed

Do you know the reason behind the name? The “Spaghetti Incident”? Members of the group had a “contest” with some other rock stars to see how long they could go without showering, and still get women to sleep with them. Axl was something like 2 weeks without a shower, and some girl puked up spaghetti when she went down on Axl, cause of how bad he smelled. Lol Pretty twisted actually
@billyaltvater1880

@@Day-ZDuke Iv read it was inspired by a fight Axl and Steven Adler had that involved Spaghetti in 1989. It was brought up by Adlers lawyer in his lawsuit against the band in 93 nd said lawyer called the fight the spaghetti incident witch amused the band and used it as the title of the album.

Interesting to see what was going on in the lives of GNR when they started...and compare it to the impact on my life after I had heard about the band from an unlikely social contact. I had no knowledge of the band or anything in that world, just loved the songs. I told an older friend, a Nuhent fan, about the band,and he bought a copy of one of the albums. After he heard it, his original disrespect of my taste in music and his skepticism was gone. He treated me completely differently afterwards, and also really enjoyed the music. I always enjoyed the album purely for how it spoke to me as music, I had no social connection to the average GNR fan,or the culture depicted in this film. That completes this picture for me thirty years later.🤔

People ignore that Axels drives used the throat and not the pallet (pallet one is rare and hard as fk! Many singing teachers refuse to teach it as its so dangerous). He started suffering the consequences in late 88 as he did not know and managers pretended not to know...he had to go through hell to make it until 93....almost became mute. Docs advised he could NOT keep it up. He had operarions to remove the callous and it affects the vocal cords. Steven Tyler and others also had similar operations but Axel sang his heart out for hours on end for 4 years. Thats why his voice changed with time...he either found a new way to sing or he would never be able to speak again. There is a new operation that could help him further buts is always dangerous and the guy managed to overcome and kept his insane range! After Freddy Mercury there is Axel and 2 more dudes with that range...and no people are not born with it..you have to work for it. So its enerving when ignorant folks say his voice is not the same...thats not the point!!! Point is how fking rock n roll he was and still is.

That guy expressed his opinion based on his direct experience with the band. You dont like it alright dude...but maybe you should refrain from making such harsh unbased statements. Thats 50% why Axel does not do media, other 50% he just does not give a fk! Slash loooooves atention and media even if it means to BS further. Tje band ended later then expected mostly due to vampires...vulters....none of the band members are guilty of the breack up but they are ALL responsible for it. The good thing about this documentary is that it showcases that G N' R didn't get spawned from just one band, they were spawned from two: L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose, showing that Tracii Guns had much to do with creating the band as Axl Rose, which is a thing other documentaries I have seen of the band seem to leave out. As well as having Road Crew featured, because it had Slash and Steven Adler because they were part of the classic G N' R lineup.

At least all the other members have had the balls to release records under their own names. Axl got legal rights for the name because he knows without it he wouldn't sell out a school gym. Anyone who knows anything about music knows that a band becomes successful because of the song writing. Appetite was full of fucking legendary songs and without the songs Gn'R would have sunk without a trace amongst the sea of woeful hair bands at the time. This doco is fucked because it is presented as if Gn'R made it because of image and Axl ........... what a load of fucking bullshit!

Bob James you must a be a guitar person. I am both and can definitely say you are 100% wrong. axle was 50% of the name first of all. secondly, people can write songs sure. kids can write good songs, but it is up to a singer to phrase them and add any stylizing by way of phrasing, ad-libs, etc. AXLE was all of that. HE is the front man for the band and as such is responsible for most of the image of the band all by himself..whether or not he had managers helping. SO, his vocals, ad libs, gutter-ness, complete lack of giving a fuck, made guns n roses. BECAUSE we all know appetite was the best. the gutteral feel of illusions was not there. it was over produced. they needed that heroin in your veins type of music. i like illusion in fact its in my car cd player right now....but it is no appetite. WAIT!!!!! HOW DID VELVET REVOLVER TURN OUT? OH YEAH. NOT VERY GOOD.

Axl Rose is the engine of GnR , if you don’t have that power then you ain’t got what it needs to come from far away and adversity & on your own as a strong magnet human You(Axl Rose )can help create a rock n’Roll Monster to take over the Music World!!! \m/!!! #GnR

Every idiot in the comments like "theyll never be forgotten!!" This doc was made during the period when it was JUST axl doing shows with the random new members and it wasn't gunsNroses anymore. Not really anyway, thats why its titled that. The band still technically existed, but people forgot that because it wasnt GNR anymore.
