Best Welcome to the Jungle lesson on youtube. A lot of people teach this song but in the intro, they don't teach the ghost note slide from 2-4 on the G string(which Slash DOES play) and they don't teach the down up up picking pattern. Two small details that make a WORLD of difference!! Really shows you care about the quality of your lessons. I subscribed.

Practice alternate picking, you will need it at some point in your guitar playing.., start slow and get the feel and then work on speed, Learn all aspects of the guitar, trust me the instrument is a lot more fun the more you know.. I’m a rocker from way back, but sitting in on a blues jam or country jam is just as much fun, you wouldn’t of convinced me that when I was younger, But rather than sit in the corner because I couldn’t play blues, country, or whatever, when everyone else was jamming, I started to learn a little of everything, you’ll be amazed at how much all styles of music use techniques from each genre.. have fun.
