In this episode, I'm discussing how gut feelings are usually fear-based knee-jerk reactions that are running on repeat. Our unconscious mind is a powerful force, and if we're not careful, we'll keep running our fear-based programs on repeat.
In this episode, I discuss the importance of using our discernment in order to identify a gut feeling as a fearful reaction, and how to embrace our intuition, which is a heart-centered response.
When it comes to responding as opposed to reacting, it's all about taking a step back, becoming an observer, and choosing another way. If you repeatedly react and choose from a place of a strong emotional charge, and you're calling it a gut feeling, you are simply acting on your unconscious programming. But if you are able to take a step back from the strong emotional charge and not make a choice from your gut feeling, you are learning how to do the shadow work.
It takes focus and it takes practice to avoid your fear and listen to your heart. It takes rewiring to stop listening to your monkey mind and get into your heart center.
Shadow Work gives you the personal freedom and power to live the life you were born to live. It is your birthright to live in joy and happiness, but when we live in the programming of our unconscious minds, we live in a prison of gut feelings and reactions based on strong emotional charges.
