Your bolts came out way easy! Score! Thanks for promoting Dave's Vega Village. Very few guys are making H-body parts so we need to support them as possible. I just did this project with my buddy Bill and it took us 2-days. What pain. I wish you posted this three months ago! LOL

Hang on a minute. So the crush tube inside the bushing isn't the right size so the camber bolt is a snug fit? Just putting all the strain on those ferrel washers is a bad design.

How did you get 7 degrees caster on each side? Did you swap the upper a arms side to side? Never mind, I re-watched your other video. It looks like you swapped upper control arms side to side.

The steering feels solid and it steers like is on rails after all the mods.

Not sure if many know about this, but Dave recently passed away. I have no idea who is making these Ferrels now when I talk to him about eight months ago, he said he wanted to pass it on to a friend, so not all hope is lost. Rest in peace Dave

I have no idea. I've never even seen a chevette in real life.

Dang that things going to handle terrible at full lock drifting with those camber angles. Depending on the chassis I've had the best luck with -3 to -6 depending on how much steering angle. May be worth it to extend the lower control arms or shorten the uppers. Caster angle looks great though. Love the videos, glad I found this channel!

There is a video of it drifting. It's no pro car, or an amateur car. . . or even a a stock 240, but it is decent. Thank you for watching. I'll try to keep it interesting!

Furrel Washers Dave's Vega Village information: davesvegavillage.tripod.com/ I do not recommend moving them outboard the as I did in the video. The reason: moving the lower balljoint inboard 1/4" is plenty to compensate for any camber difference between the Blazer and Vega spindles. Moving the top balljoint outboard then requires full deflection of the camber/caster adjusters on the lower control arm to prevent positive camber. The solution: Install the upper balljoints centered in the widened hole of the upper control arm. I still recommend swapping the upper control arms to their opposite sides for caster gain. doing so adds stability at speed.
