Just to clarify for future people reading through comments that are curious, the first half before the break is sung in Japanese and the second half is sung in Chinese Mandarin. ^^ I really like this chorus combination.

I can't believe I`d almost forgotten about this song! It's one of my favorites. I love how it's sung in both Japanese and Chinese in this chorus. It's as if these two cultures have been brought together through this one beautiful song~

I just noticed that Megurine Luka is also singing the Chinese part. It's hard to hear, and it IS her, but she's accompanied by a the male singer who sang in Chinese. That's when you bet hear her.

First is Che;sakurai, then on the left is Valshe and on the right is Kazukin, then the Kagamines, Panda-shi is the first Chinese singer, not sure about the guy but the girl is Luka, as in the Vocaloid, singing in Chinese. I didn't even realise until the names got a bit less blurred and I could make out the ルカ. Seriously, 240p is the worst.

夏子 Well, yes and no. Japan has their own version of the Chinese Characters that are exactly the same as Chinese only in japan the phonetics of the characters are different, sometimes drastically different. While Chinese characters are used in the song, they are more rightly defined as Kanji only since they probably wouldn't make a lick of sense in the sense of using them as strict Chinese. Japan molds these characters a bit to match their phonetics and a Character can have a wide range of meaning phonetically as well as actual meaning that can be found in the Kanji of Names. There could even be more meaning to the song depending on how you translate the different characters of Kanji. This is one of the reasons as why Japanese Kanji can be the most difficult to learn since there so much meaning and history behind them, not only in Japan but in China too. Nevertheless it's a wonderful homage to history and culture that Japan and China share. Especially splitting the video in two one half for Chinese and another for Japanese.
