People are looney, I love HEB but who waits outside in a line at the crack of dawn just to go grocery shopping? It’s weird

Building in the wealthy areas, not necessarily where the NEED is.

HEB has SEVERAL stores in low income areas (Worked for them for over 11 years). They serve all communities whether they be wealthy or low income. This is a company that puts its community first and is very generous in their support of the community. They give back everyday to those in need. Maybe research HEB first before criticizing them.

We are HEB resistance is futile. Albertsons turned into HEB when they ran them out of town. HEB is a great company though and its local.

The average shopping cart in Frisco is $300 over the weekend. Thats why HEB is here. Frisco is the richest city in Dallas DFW area. Inspite of competition from Costco, Target, Kroger they are here. The store is located just at the right location , in the heart of Frisco and exit of Toll-way. Costco will now have to share their customers with HEB. And it has got the BBQ section which is ultimate here. Definetely will kill small businesses here.

Frisco is nowhere near the richest city in DFW!!! I don’t know why people think Frisco is all of that…. And Highland Park is the richest with a few billionaires living there I should I attended SMU

Frisco is definitely not the richest area in DFW at all. Highland Park is the wealthiest in the state and 7th wealthiest in the USA. Homes literally start well over $1 million in Highland Park. Even then, there’s still University Park and Preston Hollow. Frisco is not more affluent than none of those areas.

You'll only find HEB in wealthy areas. I'm sure the target market overlaps with Costco. That tells you it's not a bargain store. Prices are not great.

Not sure what “lower prices” they see because I went & as I priced items I checked my Walmart app & Walmart actually beats them on almost every single item I’ve looked at. Eggs$4.39- Walmart $3:20 , milk $4.35- Walmart $3.80 , bread $1.98- Walmart $1.10 Met everything is same price or a bit cheaper at Walmart

Lower prices with Quality. That's HEB. I bet your milk or egg won't satisfy your taste buds from Walmart.

I'm from Dallas TX And ive never set foot inside an HEB OR BUCEES. Maybe because they are hundred of miles from Dallas? Lol These stores are stupid for not opening around Dallas county.

As far as Buc-ee's, Terrell, Ennis, Royse City, and Melissa aren't 100 miles from Dallas. Existing H-E-B stores prior to the Frisco store include Ennis and Waxahachie. Not 100 miles away either. The upcoming west Plano store will be even closer than the Frisco store.

Plano is also a top class city and very wealthy . Reason for HEB to be here too. Frisco and Plano are neighboring city and too much crowded with School going kids and their families

I. I think it's a strategy to make sure it's existing stores are fully paid for and have adequate warehouses for supplies to any new stores. . Dallas is a big area and HEB probably doesn't want to disappoint people there by not being ready to serve in the best way possible.

Me and a few other investors have been trying to Franchise and open Aldi Grocery Stores in places that have no Grocery stores. Aldi denied Us. We will do Our Own Melenated Stores for Our Melenated People. We will take all their Customers.

That is what has made me mad about HEB here in Corpus. They ran everyone out of town, Now they give no price breaks. Right now we all could use a price break on the basics...milk, eggs, bread and fruit and veg. They own a bunch of property that lies empty because rent is too high or another person wants to open up so called computation.
