As a dentist with knowledge of facial anatomy, I’m totally fascinated by the work of the anterior portion of m.masseter. Musicality and tone is awesome. Malmö-here we come as soon as it’s possible. Want to experience this IRL.

I could be incredibly grateful for this inspiration after what seems like months of missing it. Am I small to think, "About *&%^$ time, Hakan!"?? Maybe. I'll think about it while I listen to this again. Simply gorgeous.

Ancora bravissimo

Charlier wrote perhaps the most beautifully melodic and musically coherent etudes for trumpet. As each focused on mastering playing characteristics, skills, stylistic interpretation, or melodic intervals, we should give him special thanks for advancing the role of the trumpet by showing us what was expected of us. And Maestro Hardenberger, you infuse each of these foundational pieces with what Arnold Jacobs referred to as “song”. At times playfully, languidly, and urgently, telling the story they weave with a warm, sure, enchanting, and confident, mastery!
