This may be my favorite of the Handel suites...endlessly inventive, deep feeling in the slow movements, and fun in the others. I love your ornamentation...very fine performance Andrew, thank you for this!

From all the Harpsichord Types (Italian&English Lute-like sounding ones, Germans...) I prefer the French ones the most due to their hard metallic sound.

Sinceramente questa Suite e più attraente aseguita al Clavicembalo. Al Pianoforte non rende le stesse sensazioni Barocche ( ovviamente 😊❤🎼🎹🎹🎹🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

A humble question, why this sounds like a E major instead of a F major, a "Do" sounds like a "Ti", very obvious in the final fugue

• 1 Adagio 0:00 - (Dismal, almost insufferable movement. (Sorry, George.)) • 2 Allegro 2:34 - AN EMBODIMENT OF JOY! (for a fun take on piano, see U3-62Y_m3CU ) • 3 Adagio 5:11 - (Dismal and clunky. Fortunately it is short.) • 4 Allegro (Fuga) 6:31 - A lovely little fugue.

Thanks Andrew. Sounds very nice to me. Can you mention the builder of the instrument?

Thank you so much! Your channel is one of my favorites on KZitem! The harpsichord was built by Philip M. Cucchiara, who is based in Cleveland, OH.

@@inspiredbyteaching Thanks. I see you already mentioned it in the general description too (or did I miss that one?). Lovely instrument too. The basses are not that deep in my perception but the overall balance and tone quality are just fine as your performances are.

@@HarpsichordVinylGallery Thank you so much. I added that information into the general description after your question. In real life the bass register of the instrument is quite deep and resonant, but I didn't quite capture that in the way I set up the microphones. Glad you like the instrument!

@@inspiredbyteaching OK thanks. I don't know if you set it up so deliberately but If you introduce the parts of the suite with their time indication starting with 0:00 or 00:00, the parts will appear in the red progressing time bar and a double click on the active part will bring all the parts in the upper right corner to make it more accessible for viewers.

@@HarpsichordVinylGallery Thank you for the suggestion. I think I prefer this piece to be listened to from the beginning, but I will keep it in mind!
