I love this band so much. The guitar tone on New Day Rising is like an insult when you hear it for the first time.

@@Ballonpoire39 I even thought they might be from somewhere in the Arabic world. A friend of mine had me listen to it and had all those "naive" perceptions. Asked him where they're from and said, I don't know. He bought it asking music store owner what good punk stuff should he buy. English his not our mother tongue, even though we heard english we couldn't figure anything out from the singing. French Canadians. The rest is history for me, I've been called Mr HÜSKER DÜ all my teenage years and my 20's Edit, btw stunned by your message. Internet and decades play.

Thanks for playing. Bob was a really underrated guitarist - I loved how he combined rhythm and lead so effortlessly.

nice! you nailed it.Your tone sounds great too. Here I was thinking I needed a Gibson or something to get close to Bob's sound, but now I'm thinking I need to start saving up to get a jazzmaster. I'm guessing a pedal helped dirty this up, maybe something like a MXR distortion +?

A Jazzmaster. Looks to be either Fender or Squier branded.
