I’m sure this is a really weird request, but I would love to have a take and hold mode that is just the “take” without the “hold”. I imagine it would just have an increased number of patrols that spawn over time, as well as the typical room-defending sosigs. Defender/patrol difficulty should probably increase the more sosigs are killed. I’m not sure how supply rooms would work in this hypothetical, but I imagine they need to refresh, unless patrols drop tokens. Idk if anyone else agrees with me, but sometimes I just wanna play a little faster pace without the interruption of hold sequences. Exited for the new level! Great work so far!

Honestly, a "Take and *Run* " gamemode would be pretty sweet, especially if it emphasizes agility and stealth over digging in and making a standoff. Perhaps the time limits used for Holds could instead be the time limit you have to get to the next Take spot? "Timed gateway connected; data extracted. 3 override tokens found. Advance to the next timed gateway and take it. You have: 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Go."

Yeah I have turned off encryptions honestly the regenerating and invisible incriptions on low tech characters are already a pain, I don't ahve that many revolvers on me. But at least he lets us tweak the difficulty, if there was only one TnH setting I don't think I would play it.

I worry about the sensation of "getting screwed by RNG" with the new sosigs for players that don't get things like a desired AP ammunition roll or fail to roll something capable of hurting the heavy. Have you considered an armor fatigue system?

I think making an option for “easy” versions of the new segment-heavy boss encryptions would help out with the calico and custom challenge crowd (unless the new regen and cascading encryptions are made trivial with shotguns, that changes things). Also, outright removing the old regen node will be a big bummer, it’s shooting drill nature was always fun to go against. I’d imagine it could be reworked to keep the back-and-forth feel without it being possible to have segments hide and to make it more intuitive.

Anton, that super-heavy operator is terrifying... I hope they move slower than talk 'deeper' than the other sosigs, it would not only help pick 'em out in a crowd, but it would make them all the more intimidating if they 'feel' like the big guy. Especially fitting considering their boss status. =P Also, thoughts on the new regenerative encryption. I noticed the darker cubes making a cross on all faces, provided those go all the way to the core, why not make them regenerate slightly faster the darker the colour is? So you need to sustain fire on the core a little more.

For the laser encryption, how about a compromise between 8 faces and 24 faces? You could make it so that each triangular face needs to be shot twice, maybe turning from red, to yellow, to gone. That'll bump up the shots/faces to 16, but not be as insane as 24 when surrounded by a few dozen sosigs and dodging lasers as well.

Anton really just added the High Table forces and Dozer sosigs with these new ones. I do like the new regenerative encryption. The cascade encryption is gonna stutter the hell out of my PC but I do like the idea behind the polymorphic encryption. I cant wait to see the new TP/Dash in action.

I feel like there should be a difference now for limited ammo and spawnlock for T/H with the new sosig types. Thought I know there are lower spawn rates in limited ammo, it would still be rough to have no real way to deal with heavy sosigs specifically when you have less than ideal kit. Though I know it's an edge case I feel it comes up often enough where it should be put in mind. Either way you go about it great work Anton, I love the new way of going around increasing challenge of T/H all around.

I'm not in a space where I can set up my Vive again right now, but just from seeing that Cascading encryption... That seems like a nightmare with how many shots that takes lol. It also just seems to get a bit repetitive/grating with how long it takes. I can't test it out myself right now, but I think that one could benefit from less total shots. For that last one with the lasers, how about a middle ground of 2 targets per-segment? Each target could just be a half-triangle. I think 8 shots would potentially be too easy, but twice that amount sounds like a good sweet spot imo. Also, I love the new enemy designs. Though I think maybe having the number of NVG lights increase through the ranks would help a lot with readability, especially with how large some of these new rooms are getting. Could start with 2, then 3, then the current 4.

I immediately saw that final encryption and thought, wouldn't it be fun if it had handles on it that you could grab and manuver yourself around it whilst it slides around the room? One handing it with a pistol in the other hand or something close quarters like a pdw, bullets flying around from intruding sosigs, using the encryption itself as cover.

I do like the idea of hard targets that might require the use of some of the more fun and dangerous toys. Explosives are fun, and so are anti-mat rifles, but currently they're more a self-damage liability than they are a useful tool, and high-power rifles mostly just serve to let me have fun in the sniper range.

These targets really require a hugh capacity to deal with, so for some characters like the Cowwiener they would be out right impossible. Maybe the orthogonal one with 8 hits could fit, but it would be fun to have a target that presents difficult shots, but doesn't require you hitting it with constant automatic fire to hope to defeat it. To take inspiration from the real world, maybe a spinning encryption, based on a pistol spinner?

I love it!! I haven't paid a visit but, I already have spikes of adrenaline just looking at this!! Dealing all of that, while pinned down by gunfire!! Those new Sosigs, are quite the sight, especially the last one. Complete invulnerability, on the account of a few small weak points. I'll use "One-Hit" mode but, I'm using infinite ammo. Doesn't make it easier on the account, you still have to reload and count your bullets AS you fire. But gaTTAyum, this looks VERY promising!! I never got bored playing this and I never will! I'm just more intimidated now!

Anton, I would love for this orthaginal encryption to be 8 quadrants, but as it moves along the y and x axis we have it rotate randomly. 3 hits per quadrant would be very difficult and annoying especially if you have to wait for it to lower if you cannot aim at the upper quadrants. but having it only have 1 hit per quadrants with 8 quadrants and having it randomly rotate with it's movement will give us a great challenge with both having to move out of the way of the lasers, but to also be able to hit the quadrants a bit easier. For the cascade, I would either reduce the numbers of cascades it breaks up from, or having less initial targets when it initially spawns. I am excited for the operator sosigs as it will provide a much larger challenge compared to the original armored sosigs. keep up the good work man!

Suggestion for the last one: Maybe make the lasers turn off as you shoot the targets? Like if you disable enough of the panels the lasers turn off for that side, alternatively make them deal less damage as you take them out just to make it a little more "fair" Looks fun though! Definitely one I'm looking forward to fighting Also, regarding new encryption types: It'd be neat if you could choose how many waves per hold and which encryptions to deal with for more customisability I usually play shorter holds myself because of time issues and attention issues so it'd be cool to be able to fight these new encryptions without having to play endless, different characters, etc

OOOOO the new encryption make me really happy! Ngl, ive been playing with simple encryption for a long time now. I had a really bad experience with regenerative encryption where i had an amazing run end because i didnt understand how regenerative worked and was frustrated by it. I had the Merica mini-gun and even that couldn't kill the encryption before it regenerated because i didn't know i had to attack the center. Glad to see it change and I look forward to giving complex encryption another shot!

Cascading encryption looks really cool, and maybe for the regenerative ones it could detect how fast the nodes are being broken and lower the recharge time on the first few nodes to be regenerated? Maybe a bucket that fills with the amount of blocks broken in a span of 3 seconds, starting at 1 with no nodes and like 3 with 10 nodes, and it multiplies the regeneration time by it? In a way it makes so characters like the cowboy are still difficult by the nature of their weapon selection but modern ones with automatic high capacity are kept in check? I still gotta play the orthogonal but I like it so far

That cascading one is far and away harder than the new regenerative, which may just be too easy now. An idea I just got for the classic one is maybe simple color coding. When it's growing, it's green, but when you shoot it and it stops, it's red. Maybe not quite like that but something similar to communicate that visually.

the node at 11:12 is REALLY cool, my favourite of all of them, but i feel like it's length is WAY longer than the other examples compared to how much more interactive it is (either the others are too short or that one's too long), either way, i think with some tweaking that could be one of the most interesting nodes gameplay-wise (although it could have some weird interactions with complex environments) love the updates, excited to get my hands on it!!

Do melee hits still do decent stun? I find that for a lot of sosigs that are over armored when im under ammoed, i can kinda just pistol whip them and instantly knock them down and then shoot through weak points. Are the new S.E.A.L.-sigs more resistant to that, or is that still a good option?

i would recommend that the top sides of the orthagonal be one shots but the ones on the bottom (typically easier to hit) should be the 3 hit sides. so 4 sides to shoot on top and 4 sides with sections of 3 on the bottom.

My thoughts on the new boss encryptions: Regenerative looks like an absolute blast (no pun intended) Polymorphic looks like an absolute nightmare as-is. Normal agile targets are hard enough to deap with while sosigs are attacking, and putting the little nubs on top of that seems really nasty. Love the way the cascading encryption moves, it's so cool! I want to try the orthogonal encryption even though I'm far from competitive at take and hold, haha. Seeing it move around makes me wish for some non-sosig hostile robots to fight as well. It would be a fun mix-up every now and then to have a hovering polygon shoot at you, kinda like the targets from the Winter Wasteland scene but smaller.

a nice addition to the heavy sosig would be the ability to take them down faster by stabbing them in the unarmored neck part with a knife

hey for the orthagonal encryption i think it would be neat to test reaction time by having the three segments on the face of the target points flip open to show only one of the three parts glowing, indicating you shoot there, if youre too slow, it closes back up. I think it would make a great boss hold for non-high capacity weapons by testing the ability of players to flick. In my few hundred hours playing take and hold ive noticed the most useful skill in other shooters in the "lizard brain" flick shots I can occasionally pull off especially with rifle style weapons, id love another way to test that ability in take and hold.

The sosigs look cool, but I'd argue that they shouldn't have 'leg' armour. Modern military armour primarily protects the chest/stomach area at most.

I only like that last one. That is a cool challenge. I also think it's hit amount is just right. I bet a shotgun would be preferred to take it out. The only issue it dealing with sosigs raining hell on you while you battle.

maybe for the laser encryption, you could have it so that one laser turns on first, followed by the other lasers, that first laser being the direction it will go

Some color variation on the higher tier sosigs would be really helpful to show where the weakpoints are. As it is I think a lot of people would struggle to know where to aim that haven't explicitly been told that those spots even exist. I'm not saying paint their butts glowing orange or anything, but the current difference between 'grey kevlar cloth' and 'grey super tough armor' is pretty dang subtle.

I think the Laser-death encryption should only have 4 targets up top but the bottom quadrants being divided is fine. Getting an angle on the top may feel kinda luck based when there are sosigs pouring into the room. Everything else looks super fun. I can't wait to see them in T&H.
