¡Hola! Tambien "poner los cuernos" y "levantarse con el pie izquierdo" (to be in bad mood on the given day).

Ok, here's the lesson learnt: in the whole South and Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, the jargon is waaaaayyyyyyyyyy funnier, more colorful and interesting than the actual Spanish itself. That thing about "echarle los perros a alguien", really, I couldn't stop laughing.

I actually heard someone say the "poner los cuernos" expression in a Mexican telenovela, and I thought it was something vulgar. It's nice to see that it is a common expression. That show was Teresa (I recommend it on Netflix to those learning Spanish). There was a scene where a guy was jokingly confronting his friend for talking to his girlfriend, and he said, "¿por qué estás pedeleando mi bicicleta?" That one had me laughing.

I'm sure I type many errors in my spanish, thats why I continue in my second language ;) I wanted to mention that maybe, but I am not Colombian for sure that El dia de amor y amistad is el tercer sabado de septiembre? Which is by coincidence TODAY. Really, I just by accident listened to this video, and because Maria was daubting the day, I tried google it. But maybe the internet has not the truth as well. But I found this statement: El día del amor y la amistad se conmemora en Colombia el tercer sábado del mes de septiembre y es una celebración tradicional en la que los amigos, conocidos, enamorados, novios, esposos y amantes se expresan su amor y cariño. Today it's Saturday the 19th of September 2020. Sending you love from the Netherlands.. And keep up the good work. You two are an amazing couple. I myself have a girlfriend in Medellin, never met in real yet and Corona keeps me from visiting at this moment, but I definately will go there in the future...

Muy divertido el video!!! Me encantó!

I am trying to say that when I am listening to another person and they ask me a question in Spanish, I find I respond or answer in Spanish. I notice Cody saying Otra vez, instead of again... without prompting. It is becoming more natural to respond in Spanish when that is activated in the brain... does that make sense? Great job on this video!
