9:20 That Gordie Howe must have been amazing to score 103 points as a forward and still manage to create defenseman scoring record

1969 Draft was the one where Philly got a certain guy named Bobby Clarke. Quite an important moment, I think, not just in Flyers' history, but for the whole league.

One aspect that should be noted from this season, but wasn't by The Hockey Guy. For those who still despise the Flyers of the 1970s, you can point to the quarter-finals of the '69 playoffs. You can thank the Plager brothers, Noel Picard, etc. for creating the monster that became the Broad Street Bullies. The Blues were absolutely vicious to the Flyers in that series, leaving them bruised, bloodied, and with teeth knocked out. The series became a turning point in Flyer history because the team quickly drafted the likes of Schultz, Saleski, and a few other large, enforcer types.

The '67 Leafs broke another 5 Cup run by the Habs, a fact that very often gets overlooked. 6 Cups in the 50's 4 Cups in the 60's 6 Cups in the 70's Boom.

I just noticed the french alternate logo lurking on that Montreal jersey. Would be kind of a cool video to look at all of the past and alternate logos for the league with a little history.

The NFL may not count it, but the Sharks came from the same ownership group. They are the successor to the Seals.

Gives you a prospective on why they don't want to separate Montreal and Boston. It took a long time for Toronto and Detroit to leave the same division only to bring them back together.

Is it way too late to suggest corrections? 3:51 The 1951-52 Red Wings and the 1955-56 Canadiens both got exactly 100 points. 7:40 Didn't Terry Sawchuk win all 4 of his playoff home games with a shutout? With only 2 rounds, that's the entire playoffs! 9:00 That would be 700th goal.
