Thank you SO much for this! I'd like to send it o my OBGYN. He still follows the old information. Luckily, I also go to a functional medicine practice, and both of those doctors are up to date on the more recent studies and offer HRT, the compounded form. I started in September, and have slowly seen some positive changes. It is so helpful to hear more discussions about such an important part of women's health.

38 years old, have just started bio identical progesterone cream, I had a extreme stress experience at 36 and started experiencing symptoms, I was trying to tell doctors that it felt normal. My estrogen levels appear to be fine but I am having estrogen dominance symptoms because my progesterone is low… thats what I’ve been told.

@@PrimalPathWellness Okay! As long as it’s bioidentical estradiol, from what I’m hearing, they can actually be protective against cancer. There’s a lot of new research out there, and so many are talking about it here on KZitem. I’m trying to look at what all sides are saying-still on the fence, but I’m really leaning towards bioidentical prescription strength hormones. I don't blame Ms. Maria for fear of bioidentical hormones because comment after comment in you tube of a lot of women on other videos is that is did cause them cancer, regardless of cancer. However, what about those young women with early menopause with hysterectomies? They need them and I dont hear of cancers among them. How do these ladies feel about pregnenolone, which is converted by the body into sex hormones and adrenal hormones. I tried taking estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, but I didn't like it. My feeling is that with pregnenolone, my body can determine which downstream hormones it needs. Since it's OTC, I can adjust my dose. I prefer not to have a monthly cycle.
