In this video, I am doing a serial port breakout on my Creality Mainboard 1.1.5 (older ones work the same) to get the RX and TX wires to connect my ESP32 to. It's tough, so practice your soldering skills and get a decent soldering iron for SMD (or let a friend do it for you :-)).
