that's funny - he makes me laugh. Recently I was interviewing someone who saw him and she said "He's wearing jeans and a tee shirt." I asked if she saw anything on the shirt (as noted, someone said "It says, "The Grateful Dead ") but in this case, she said "it's one of those yellow smiley faces." Imagine that. Funny guy.

Thanks! as a result I've gone through all of the previous podcast and rewritten the headline so it includes the folks we interviewed that day. When I posted them originally, I wasn't specific about who were were interviewing in the headline - so people would have to listen to what was said. But after 2 years of podcasts, I realize it's hard for me to find folks we've talked to, and then revisit what was said then. Compare the appearances. It's fun to do so!

Indeed. To me it was like... whaaaat? I made this offhanded joke after he said this profound thing; "I brought more of source with me to this lifetime, so when people are near me they feel that unconditional love." Because I tend to keep things light, I replied; "Not so much with the Romans." Since Jennifer and I had just met - literally this was day one, she could have been offended, could have focused on something else... but said "I don't understand what that meant, but he's laughing." And... it follows ... if they can laugh on the flipside, then there's a zillion things to explore with them that isn't the hand wringing, crying out to heaven, hurting one's knees form of interaction... laughter? On the flipside? Cool. A friend of mine reminded me today - when she was recounting meeting Jesus while having an out of body experience, she was in awe while recounting the experience, and I said "tell me what he's wearing" and she suddenly laughed, as she saw a pair of sunglasses appear on him while they were "flying through space." She said that struck her as so funny, it knocked her out of the memory of what she was accessing during this guided meditation in a crowded restaurant. (It's in IT'S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE). Anyways, thanks for the comment, and I realize now I should emphasize the funnier things I've heard people say about him.

Anything on what you call the flipside finds its expression on the earth with everything they create. Our co-creative energy here is slow compared to what they can do there for the 'all that is'. Amazing.
@RichMartini
Ай бұрын
Indeed, and people report on the flipside they need to slow down in order to communicate with us (or send a visual or dream). And we need to lower the filters on the brain, we can do that with meditation, or "elevating our awareness" - one person on the flipside put it this way; "Imagine I'm in a supersonic jet, and I have to slow down to talk to you - and you're in a VW van with the windows rolled up traveling down a bumpy dirt road. Only so many words, gestures, ideas I can send across to you."

Thanks! I was just going through all of our podcasts and putting the word "FIVE" or the number 5 into the headings, so if someone wanted to do a search, "Five" "Martinizone" or "Jennifer Shaffer" they'll find the times he's shown up. He's also shown up in guided meditation - oddly enough, also in the book ARCHITECTURE OF THE AFTERLIFE. Because of being adamant of not giving a gender, or calling himself by name - I've come to realize the same "guide" showed up in IT'S A WONDERFUL AFTERLIFE and the book DIVINE COUNCILS IN THE AFTERLIFE where I asked him "If he was aware of my work" and said "Yes, Richard, you were in the room when I was answering questions before." And I realized, it was when I was across the room, listening to Scott De Tamble do a hypnotherapy session, the camera was running, but I wasn't asking questions - just sitting in the same room. Mind bending.

Do I feel old! I remember going to a Saturday afternoon matinee to see Michael Gough in a movie called Konga (1961). I thought 'maybe it wasn't him.' So I looked up a list of all of his credits, and there it was....😇🤗

That's sweet. I got to know him and he sent the most amazing hand drawn Christmas cards every year. He was so infinitely charming, and I know that Tim Burton loved him dearly (though I'd not met Tim) - but I could call "Mick Gough" from anywhere in the world and hear his charming dulcet tone and brighten my day. "Yes darling" he'd say, "I was just thinking of you." In the book FLIPSIDE i go into depth how strange it was to be camped in a tent near Mt. Kailash and hear his voice in my tent - clear as a bell saying "Richard, I just wanted to stop by and tell you I think what you're doing is marvelous!" (He was talking about my trip through Tibet and around Kailash.) I was startled, afraid he'd passed - so I asked him aloud: "Mick? Did you die?" I heard him say "No darling, I'm here with Luana and sometimes we take trips around the Universe together." I had zero context for what he was saying - and it wasn't until we got to an internet cafe in Darchen that I could email his wife and ask... "Is he okay?" She wrote back' Yes, he's napping right now." Took me a year to get him on the phone to ask him directly about it - He had no awareness of doing so, but said "I think that's just fantastic to hear!" As only Mick Gough could.

Hi Rich & Jennifer - I've recently subscribed after Rich's podcast with Alex. Quick question Jennifer: do the people who have crossed over remain in their 'terra' persona? Everything I have understood has led me to believe that we go back to our 'original' Being..... Or are you speaking with the fractal of the Soul that was invarnated here? Many thx. ❤❤❤
@RichMartini
Ай бұрын
I can answer this in terms of the podcasts we've done about "process" - she literally sees people in her office, however they're translucent. So more like light than physical - and in terms of how that works in the research, we are all energy between lives, and we can manifest or construct a visual of how we want to appear to someone else. So she might see them younger, healthier, etc. Every medium has different filters - some can see, hear, sense - Jennifer experiences seeing, hearing, sensing, smelling, etc. So the idea of being a fractal soul - isn't part of the paradigm. We project the image to help people communicate with us from the flipside. That could be in the form of an orb (a fractal portion of who we are) or in some other form. (Jennifer has shared videos with orbs taken on her cell phone.) The cell phone sees them, so it's like she's more like a cellphone!

hey richard great job on your success. I am glad you were on next level soul. I have a question what is time like on the flipside? and can time be manipulated.
@RichMartini
Ай бұрын
Thanks. Time is relative - completely and relatively outside our ability to conceptualize. I know people like to say "It doesn't exist" but I think they mean to say "It feels like it doesn't exist." For example, people report "25 years on earth feels like 5 or 10 minutes on the flipside." So one can imagine, running into someone from 2500 years ago, wouldn't be that unusual. In the previous podcast, talking to Robert Towne my old boss, I asked him about that - it had been a week since we last spoke, so I asked "What does that feel like timewise to you?" And he answered "Like creating and filming three feature films." He knew I would understand the reference - as we worked on films together. It takes years to write, direct, edit, distribute a film - and he was saying since our last chat (less than a week earlier) it felt to him like he had been learning exponentially how to navigate the afterlife. "Like filming three different feature films." Mind bending - but that's what's reported. They're moving at an exponentially faster rate, and we are a much more gravitational rate. Like molasses. In order to communicate they need to "slow down" to talk to us, and we need to "speed up" (meditate, clear the cache) to communicate with them.

If one reads the liner notes on this podcast, one should realize they are all people (except for Jesus) whom I worked with. Charles Grodin is the godfather to our kids, Mick Gough is a dear old friend, I knew Gene Wilder through Charles, had dinner with him, worked with Gilda on a movie and I walked Robert Towne's dog Hira for three years before writing and directing 9 feature films. Our moderator on the flipside Luana Anders did 300 tv shows and movies - and in charge of the guest list. To repeat the obvious - there is no hierarchy in the afterlife, the idea of "celebrity" is a stage concept - we are all just lights walking each other home. Jennifer and I have been doing this weekly for 8 years. She spends a third of her practice working with law enforcement on crimes, sometimes brutal and heart wrenching... I try to focus on people I know that are not on the planet. Again - sorry if that's a problem for some but they aren't "celebrities" to me - other than Jesus of course - they're friends of mine whom I get to talk to, hear from, have more laughs with. "Some gems" indeed.

@@RichMartini yes that makes sense, Im referring to listeners that dont know those people and have a very low interest in celebrities - coupled with the scope of of what would be possible to come through, probably sounded insulting but its my honest perspective - Tesla, Royal Rife, more Jesus and other advanced characters - is Don Juan from castandeda books genuine? and others like extraterrestrial, higher dimensional characters and with a longer exploration with them would be a wider scope and more interesting to the general spiritual community only in my view :) 🙏📿

Funny you'd mention Don Juan. I live a block from where Castaneda lived in Santa Monica. Someone dug into the library timesheet at UCLA when he was there, and found that when he was supposed to be "with Don Juan" he was actually in the UCLA library doing extensive research into other people's journeys. In essence, he wrote a fiction book and called it "non fiction." (Wasn't the first, won't be the last.) I interviewed a woman who was with Fellini when he came stateside to "meet the great Castaneda" and was there when Fellini did meet him in Mexico. And instead of revealing what he realized on that trip - when he went back to Rome and was asked about his search for him, Fellini accurately replied "I could not find him no matter how hard I looked." (Because he was a fiction). In my case, I focus on the data, the research, to accompany these "directed conversations" with someone I consider a cellphone to the afterlife. In terms of the thousands of clinical case studies (Dr. Wambach, Dr. Weiss, reports from Michael Newton and the Newton Institute) I also have the research from UVA Medical school DOPS lab to consider - the studies by Dr. Greyson of NDE's (his book AFTER is excellent.) Data is data, become data by being consistent and reproducible. As Greyson notes, "You can get objective data from subjective experiences by asking the same questions." Over these 8 years, I ask the same questions to people offstage. "Who greeted you?" "What have you learned?" By examining these two years of podcasts, one can see that people offstage say the same things over and over, the same hallmarks. Some people that are interviewed over many years report the same things... And Jennifer is a perfect example because her day is filled with sessions, she doesn't remember any of them, a third are with law enforcement. so it's like I have a cellphone to folks offstage. In terms of avatars; they do show up. In the data from UVA (15% of NDE's see Jesus whether people believe in them or not). Anyways, there's a forum on Quora "Hacking the Afterlife" where these topics are discussed, data, research and experiences shared if one wants to go further in depth. Thanks.

Take a look through the titles of the podcasts. Quite a few here, and then there are four books BACKSTAGE PASS TO THE FLIPSIDE 1, 2 and 3, with some of the folks listed above, as well as TUNING INTO THE AFTERLIFE focused on musicians offstage. Actually, I'm not in charge of the guest list - Luana Anders is on the flipside. She was my pal and companion for 20 years, brought Jennifer and I together. Wrote the foreword to Backstage Pass from the flipside. Tom Petty showed up a week after his passing, I asked him why because I never met him (although wrote music reviews for Variety at one point) and Jennifer didn't know him. Instead of answering "how" he said "You have no idea how hard it is to get into this group. There's a line around the block, and your friend Luana is like the bouncer at the velvet rope with a clipboard." People can't get in to talk to you without her saying it's okay." When publicists reach out to us about booking their clients, I point out that we only interview folks offstage. And we aren't in charge of the guest list (unless I've had some odd experience where someone showed up and I hear their voice saying "I understand you're the person I need to speak to, to get a message to my family." (That's happened a few times, including with RFK and John McCain) In those instances I say the same thing; "I'm not in charge of the guest list. Luana Anders is. If you can get her to put you in the chair, we'll be happy to chat with you." And in many cases I track down their children and report verbatim what was said (even if it's not on the podcast). I'd say about half of the time they're receptive, half of the time they say "I wish I could talk to my loved one, but I don't believe you guys are." Which is fine - because the mission was to pass along the information. When the person who requested it shows up again later, I point out that their child/sibling/parent didn't want to hear from us, and they often reply "It's fine. They eventually will realize that it was me reaching out to them." Thanks for the comment!
