Hello Dario, just watched your video about the national white booster and you do a great job! Can you give me some advice about boosting a hurricane 3 neo national 40 degree blue sponge with the haifu national white booster? is there a difference for boosting 41 degree vs 40 degree? Greetings
@DarioGrd
2 ай бұрын
There is no big difference. A lot depends on the player's preferences, and the more times you do the boosting process, the more you will become familiar with what suits you best. It is possible that only one thin layer of booster will be enough for you, you may need two or three, regardless of the sponge 40 or 41 degrees of hardness. There is no exact recipe for all players.

Do you have tried the National White Booster also on Butterfly or ESN rubbers? Would you recommend using one layer of it on those rubbers and how many degrees do you think will the rubber become softer than before?
@DarioGrd

I have not tried this booster on ESN and Butterfly rubbers. I tried boosting that type of rubber a couple of times and gave up after a short time. It takes me a lot of time to boost the FH rubber, there is no need to give myself extra work. So in BH I choose a rubber that does not need to be additionally boosted :) But yeah, if I were going to boost ESN or Butterfly rubbers for myself, I certainly wouldn't put more than one layer.

Hi, Dario how were u able to glue on your rubber and flatten it? I boosted mine with the national white 2 layers and it curled up.
@DarioGrd

Hi. If the rubber bends too much that it is not possible to glue it, then you should wait another 2-3 days for it to become more flat. This is normal and expected, at the same time it is proof that the booster works.

@@CorentinKaisergruber There is no big difference. It is necessary to remove all the remains of the glue and apply new layers as desired. @@CorentinKaisergruber hi. You only get a mushy feeling when you overdo it with the booster. With each subsequent boosting, I apply less booster, also more time passes between boosting again. Over time, I developed the feeling that I know when I need to boost again and how much booster is needed. It is also an advantage that I have a durometer so that I can measure the hardness of each part of the sponge and then put even less booster on certain parts. Aside from the topic of the video, I would like to ask you a question: Which is better, Yasaka Rakza X or Z for the back hand?
@DarioGrd
9 ай бұрын
They are two different types of rubbers. Rakza Z is a hybrid, and Rakza X is a tensor. It all depends on what suits you better for BH. The main difference is that Rakza X is faster, while Rakza Z gives more spin and has a bigger throw angle. For more information, look on my channel, there are reviews for both of these rubbers.

@@عليالخويلدي-ز2و If you are a beginner, this blade might be too fast for you. Because the Tibhar Carbon Shot is a very fast blade. Rubbers are a bit slower, so in my opinion it is a good choice, but blade could cause problems in the development of technique.

@@عليالخويلدي-ز2و The Yasaka Falck W7 is a better option than the Tibhar Carbon Shot because it is slower. There are a lot of options, so I wouldn't want to make a specific recommendation because I don't know what might suit you, but by speed category, if you are a beginner, choose a blade in the category ALL or ALL+, possibly OFF-. Don't go for faster and more expensive blades, it's better to buy faster blade after a while when you've mastered the technique.

I tried this booster long before your video went out, after seeing the ThePongProfessor booster series (he uses Yellow National) and I 100% agree with all your review. Do you use often hurricane 3? I am seeing that you do the same mistakes as me, and I am wondering if it's related to the rubber: you use too much the arm instead of the body, and when setting the shot, you go too much behind you with your arm when you really don't need that much. Probably the other player give you trouble with medium long shots where the table gets in the way.

Ur suppose to wait 24 hours between each layer. And one more layer of boost after 3 layer of glue and wait 36 hours. U glue it way too early.
@DarioGrd
16 күн бұрын
At 3:01 I said I waited 24 hours between each layer. 2 layers are more than enough for me, there is no need for a third layer if it suits me like this. For some other rubbers, and also for this rubber after a certain number of previous boosts, only one layer of booster is enough for me. If you overdo it with the booster, especially with this one, then the rubber becomes mushy
@keithlintt

@@DarioGrdthe third layer is only after 3 layer of no15 glue. It's to soften up the glue. So total of 4 layer of glue, the first factory boosted layer -> 2 layer of oil (24 hrs in-betwen)-> 3 layer of no15 -> one layer of booster wait 36-48hrs then glue on racket. That third layer of booster on top of the 3 layer of glue is going to give the h3 necessary power away from the table
