@@mrsupercial5326 I have watched both and I dont agree. I felt in love with this anime (Haikyuu) and tbh I understand some people may like it less than I do. I think I just find the anime(and the manga ofc) a lot more "hyping" if we could say. If this anime come to an end I will defiently fall in tears thats for sure. Maybe its because I can relate to all a little bit to the character too, idk (more than in AnD ofc). AND BTW, GOD DO I LOVE THOSE SOUNDS TRACKS

¿someone asked you? Yes, haikyuu is surprising, but so far. nomas is focused on the game and the story of the characters is about it, the personal is in the background. And in the end, an anime can give more than just what happens in-game. So I wouldn't rate it as a best anime, if not as a great volleyball anime.

And you can’t forget the world building. Holy shit I never thought I’d never see this good of world building in a sports anime. The consistency and detail. Miyagi perfecture, Furokodani Group, National Youth Camp, as well some stuff later on in the manga. And there are things like ranking like Top 3 Ace, the best ace and libero. Makes the setting of High School volleyball in Japan feel so real. What an elite anime

The thing about Haikyuu!! is that there are antagonists, they just show you so much of them that you forget. Like, Seijoh and Nekoma are some of the biggest antagonists, yet we treat them as well as we do the protagonists because of how much development and characters we see from them. It's a show that makes you unconsciously root for both sides and then feel bad when either one loses. Haikyuu!! is definitely my favorite anime and manga.

I love haikyuu and the fact that you don't just need to like one team. For example obviously karasuno is the main team but there is also nekoma and fukurodani which aren't necessarily the "bad guys" Haikyuu i such an underrated anime fr

Here to leave a comment. I first watched Haikyuu in October 2020 when I was completely new to the world of anime. Didn't know about manga, just watched anime suggested by my friends. I loved it so much then , I rewatched it in March 2022 . It's the first anime I have ever rewatched out of 100 anime. I am reading the manga now , and it's ranked 9th on anilist (world ) , this anime (manga) is a masterpiece. My favourite sports anime. I will finish the manga tomorrow, I hope the remaining arcs get animated. Love you Haikyuu , love you Haruichi Furudate! 6th April 2022, 1:00 P.M.

What haikyu has taught me Sugawara taught me that sometimes you must risk your own satisfaction for the greater good. Daichi taught me that I’d you have a chance, you should take it. Kenma taught me that when something interests you, it can be fun. Asahi taught me that it’s never too late to do something you love. Nishinoya taught me that those who do not intent to stand out are essential. Oikawa taught me that pride can choose your path. Kita taught me that your actions become habits. Atsumu taught me that we don’t need memories because everyone will always be connected. Yamaguchi taught me that fear is not an excuse. Tsukishima taight me that even if you know you can’t win, it doesn’t hurt to try. Hoshiumi taught me that the distance between wanting to do something and can do it shortens with training. Tanaka taught me that we can be insignificant compared to others but we don’t have to waste out time thinking about it. Tendo taught me that sometimes we should follow our instincts. Ushijima taught me that our greatest flaw is your treasure. Bokuto taught me that our caompanions will be there for us but we must learn to carry on without them. Akashi taught me that despite the pressure, we must be as we always are. Kuroo taught me that we must connect so our life continues. Keishin ukai taught me that we should pass what we know to the next generations. Yachi thought me that it’s okay to want to do something on a whim. Kiyoko taught me that we shouldn’t cover our scars out of grief. Terushima taught me that it’s not enough to simply want to. Sakusa taught me that our care is part of everyday. Aone taught me that you can strike up a conversation without a word. Kageyama taught me that you should trust others, but also make others trust you as to not be rejected. And Hinata taught me that no matter the place, the condition, the triumphs or the number of defeat, we can all fly high to achieve our dreams. Never forget Flight high. (I do not take credit for this, the person who I saw first make this was @victoria munoz. Please sub to this legend)

Just wanted to add that Yuki Hayashi-san also composed the soundtrack for "Run with the wind" (Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru) , and it´s incredible, I just ended the anime and I´m very emotional, I know it seems odd because it´s about running, but it´s really amazing. In addition to that, the anime has a similar animation as Haikyuu, so please, watch the anime, it´s worth it :(

I remembered the scene where shiratorizawa was on match point and it turned out is ushijima served next and daichi was like "NISHINOYAAAAAAAA", I just finished reading the manga and rewatching the anime again and again, haikyuu never bored me, rewatching it again makes me hype like I watched it in first place. theres somethin amazing about this manga/anime that I couldnt describe with words.

I can't even explain. The soundtrack and storyline for Haikyuu is so well written, you can't bring yourself to hate a team or character since the way they present make them more understandable and lovable as they all have the same goal in mind winning and going on. You can feel emotion through the music, the tense moments, uplifting or trying moments there all protaryed so well in the music, you remember scenes in the anime and just seem to get attached to the liveliness of the music. Everyone who came into writing and making Haikyuu are blessing and I cannot bring myself to appreciate them enough. For the last 3 years Haikyuu brought me together and I will forever be thankful for that. February 6th, 2023

Whenever I listen to Haikyuu OST music I ALWAYS think of BNHA. Yuki Hayashi definitely has a style. And I absolutely LOVE IT. When "The Battle of Concepts" came on, I thought, "Bakusatsuou" and "You Say Run/Jet Set Run" were playing. Seriously. Yuki Hayashi, I love you. And did you know? Noya and Katsuki have the same Japanese voice actors.

What's great about this anime is that there's never an evil side unless the opposing team is clearly not playing a fair right. The animation and soundtrack hypes up the scene and gives us goosebumps. But, it's the character background makes us attached/relate/root for/ and sometimes it's for viewers to not just cheer for the main characters. Every now and then, we get motivational quotes before/during/after an epic scene. It stays in our minds because it's memorable. Any type of anime will have character development moments. But when it comes to haikyuu, it's built up so that when moment arrives, we feel proud and happy for the character. What the character failed to do/become when finally achieved during an intense match gives us that feeling. It's an easy formula most anime use, but they're just normal people and anything can happen in a game. So when something out of the ordinary, hyped or not hyped by the soundtrack/animation or even any build up to it, it still gets noticed. Lastly, though it's not the most realistic anime that simulates real life, it doesn't exaggerate as much as a typical shonen anime. Power up and bullshit don't randomly appear, but when the tide turns for either side, it's because of tactics/their own abilities/teamwork/luck because someone messed up. We feel the win or loss of a team but in the end we move on along with them. Of course I'm not a writer nor I'm I an analyst. There's a lot of flaw and wrong things about what I said, but man does this anime succeed in making people exited for the smallest of things you see in shonen animes. It's just plain simple and that's what pulls in most people to watch it.
