Thanks for posting this video, complete with a picture from one of my favorite books, "Big Caesar," which was inspirational for me as a boy. The Mack Bulldog earned a reputation for toughness that has not really been beaten since. They were sometimes dropped by the crane off-loading them in Britain, during WW II, or flooded in streams, but were gotten running without undue difficulty, creating quite a legend in their own time.

I see you've used the pages from the book. I also have the same ones pulled from a Readers digest copy. I've tried to figure out where the original is. I read some library has part of the artist collection and papers. Ever thought about filling in the missing art where the page fold is? I'd like to try some scanning and "restore" the missing art.

Look at the truck at 0:15 and you can see why they called them bulldogs. The front bumper looks like the lower jaw of a bulldog with overbite
