In Senegal this is called candle bush. I dry and powder this to make soap. This is fantastic for skin problems, eczema, poison ivy, herpes, ringworm…

@@kerrianscott7659 dry the leaves. then powder them. i use a coffee grinder. Place the powder in oil in a pot. i use coconut oil. using low heat allow the powder to infuse into the oil approximately 2-4 hours. make sure to keep the temp between 160-180 degrees F. when its finished allow to cool to room temperature. mix the coconut oil with equal parts shea butter. Mix thoroughly. At the onset of a breakout apply the salve daily for 7 days. You will begin to notice less breakouts. Eventually none at all. Some Jamaicans use the jjuice of the roots. i don't know the recipe for that one.

*I am from Senegal. Candle IS called SONDELL in Woloff, sounds like CHANDELLE one French word for candle. I observe that the texture of a candle is similar to that of the soap.*

I BOILED 10 FRESH LEAVES TO MAKE TWO 20 OZ CUPS OF TEA FOR CONSTIPATION, AND IT MADE ME HAD SEVERE DIARRHEA AFTER A FEW HOURS THAT CONTINUED FOR ABOUT 24 HOURS AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD NEVER STOP! IT ALSO MADE ME VERY NAUSEAOUS. IBSERIOUSLY THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO HAVE TO GO TO THE ER. SO WHY DID THIS HAPPEN, PLEASE TELL ME! I MUST HAVE USED TOO MANY LEAVES TO MAKE THE TEA, I BELIEVE. WHAT'S YOUR VIEW, PLEASE? I TOOK IT TO IMPROVE IMMUNE SYSTEM HEALTH AND AS A CLEANSE THAT ONE TIME I USED IT. I HAVE IT GROWING WILD IN MY BACKYARD. IF SOMEONE WANTS TO USE IT AS A LAXATIVE, BECAUSE I KNOW LOTS OF OLDER PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM CONSTIPATION AND HAVE TO BUY SENNA TABLETS. I COULD GIVE THEM SOME FREE TO SAVE THEIR LITTLE INCOME! HOW MANY LEAVES 🍃 SHOULD BE USED 1. FRESH 2. DRIED I WOUKD APPRECIATE YOUR ANSWERS TO THE ABOVE QUESTIONS. ALSO, HOW MANY LEAVES TO MAKE A GALLON GOR THOSE WHO NEED IT ON A REGULAR BASIS FOR CHRONIC CONSTIPATION, NAMELY ELDERLY FOLKS, PLEASE? LET ME KNOW USING 1. GREEN LEAVES AND 2. DRIED LEAVES. ALSO, HOW DO YOU DRY AND STORE LEAVES TO PREVENT MOLD? THANKS IN 18:24 ADVANCE!
