Hello. Sorry for the delayed reply, life changes kept me away for a bit. Did you end up getting Dark Ages? If so, what did you think? Now that things are hopefully calming down, I need to get it back to the table. :) Thanks for commenting.

Thanks for the review. As you were giving the overview, I was thinking exactly what you concluded: seems that just about everything here reminded me of games that already did it. A little Warrior Knights here, a little Civilization A New Dawn there, toss in a bit of Through the Ages. I’m very much a “theme” buyer based on particular historical periods I’m interested in (do I really need another French and Indian War game? YES), so if I liked medieval more I’d certainly snap this up.

Heya! Yeah, you pretty much nailed the amalgamation. It was pricey, but I'm glad I bought it. Hey, on another note (since you mentioned French and Indian Wars), have you tried Bayonets & Tomahawks? It's been in my pile and looks pretty cool, I just haven't gotten it to the table yet.

@@hairbrainedgames3127 I’ve got Bayonets & Tomahawks, I P500’d it, but haven’t even unwrapped it yet! I’ll surely get into it over the winter though.

Oh good questions. At this very moment, it would be a little game I blew off for a long time but then tried recently called Black Sonata. It's 1 player only, but it's very very clever. It's not a deep game, though, so I don't think it's going to captivate me for a long time, but it's just... clever. The one game I'm probably going to do several more sessions of solo, though, is Waste Knights. Really digging that one. How about you?
