I grew up doing all of these and I’m sure a lot of people have. Refining the way we do things to see if we get better results isn’t a bad thing. Haircare like anything in beauty is never one size fits all. If you do the opposite of this and get the best results that’s great! However if you are noticing something off with your routine, maybe more shedding, or maybe you’re new to oiling, maybe these tips will help you ❤️ Okie love you ❤️

Hii!! Definitely do some gentle massage throughout the week with a scalp brush, or a bamboo brush, scalp Gua sha, or just your hands. A scalp serum and a hair supplement may also help to speed things up as well. Spraying Rosemary water is also a option aside from oiling.

Keep hydrated with ample water and aim for 8 hours of sleep. Use coconiioon shampoo to wash your hair and apply liittleexttra reactivate hair serum daily. All this...unless you have afro textured hair types. Yes I have an afro hair type (low porosity), I've had no chemicals for 25 years and have grown my hair to tailbone length. I’m an Afro haired girlie except I’m high porosity! my hair is at my belly button, so I think that’s waist length but im not sure what is waist length. Anyways, coconut oil for high porosity hair is really really good. To maximize the benefits of coconut oil, use it as a prepoo before you get in the shower and let it absorb for a minimum of half an hour to prevent hydral fatigue so your hair doesn’t break from the swelling due to water. Coconut oil has become my holy grail for that reason. Just passing this in case anyone else sees this comment and is high porosity. If you’re low porosity, you might not like coconut oil.

can you please link the hair clips? They seem to hold a lot of hair and I just couldn’t find any hair clip for my thick and extra long hair 🙊

I'm 25 and I've oiled twice every single week,i take supplements, i have normal diet,only had 1 hair color treatment,used sulfate silicone paraben free stuff but STILL till date i don't have more than neck length hair.My hair are so so thin that if i were to put braidtge thickness of the braid of entire length is no more than 4cm.It would be safe to say that i have the worst hair in my whole lineage.All my youth i never enjoyed the beauty of healthy or long hair.Whenever i wash my hair i wash it so so gently knowing the nature of my hair but i still shed more than 3 bunches and lot more after hair dries.TBH i have no hope in such hair care videos anymore because i tried so many remedies, had so many medications and supplements, minoxidil rosemary fenugreek you name it I've had it.I just lose it sometimes and cry so much while throwing bunches and bunches of hair everyday and i just have to accept the gorgeous hairs aren't for me maybe.

I'm sorry ❤ You are not alone in this hair journey. I too struggle with fine hair and it's beyond frustrating especially when you're a woman. Hair means a lot for us and it can definitely take a toll on us mentally. I resort to ball caps and claw clips 💯% of the time. I desire to have longer hair but deep down I know shorter cuts would suit me better. I still haven't given up hope, you shouldn't either. I recommend Zala Halos (hairpieces) that give you that goddess look (they work, I've tried them) or maybe even a wig. So many girls & celebs wear hairpieces and extensions, you wouldn't even know it. Most women do not have hair like this which is why you might have heard others comment "congrats you won the genetic lottery"!! So don't be too hard on yourself, mermaid hair just wasn't in the cards for us but with that being said we can always "fake it" 😉😄 Good luck, God bless and remember you are so much more than just your hair ❤

Hi love! Thank you soo much. I have no makeup on in any of these clips 🥺🫶🏼. I think my lash serum has been working too well too. I’ve been getting comments asking if I have eye makeup on so maybe it’s that. but it’s really all skincare! I have my routines up but they’re far back now. I’ll film them again very soon ❤️❤️

Scalp massaging is like one of the only things that actually promote hairgrowth but I can’t do it because of seborrheic dermatitis 😞 so fucking annoying

Can you perhaps recommend products that are designed for different hair/ethic types accordingly. The Melilla oil is formulated towards coarse very dry Afro type hair so it’s most likely heavier, do you have recommendations that are more appropriate for other women/ hair types.

I also am trying to avoid the mielle oil because I’m scared it’ll cause hair fall on my fine 2b hair. Try jojoba, grapeseed, almond oil or avocado oil! 😊 I do about a dropper full of jojoba oil and 2 drops of rosemary with 1 drop peppermint. Hope this helps!

this may seem like a silly question, but what do you dilute the oil with? you probably can’t dilute it with water, because they don’t mix, but idk. i’m not an expert

A carrier oil. Coconut oil, olive oil or jojoba will work. Just need another oil.

@lightscameratamara does castor oil work?

@@eili11 Not sure on that. I never really got into using that oil. Did only a couple times. It’s so thick and hard to get out of hair. It’s also a color that will actually color your hair if it’s light. Amber colored oils will discolor light hair. I actually used Moroccan oil to tone down my more ashy hair to a more beige. Fair soaks up the oils so only use amber color oils if you have dark hair
